Loved it. Loved the location? Staff were helpful but I wish they would invite me to do a reno.
Pros:

Did not eat breakfast, but the location was unbeatable. Staff were lovely, room size great. But overall a little shabby. A gorgeous building in the best location but it needs a makeover. But don't let that stop you staying there. The location is a winner as are the staff.

Just a bit of avrenovation to make it look.less tired

We loved it and appreciated the original art. Artist Thompso's carving and the paintings in each room were extraordinary!

Pros:

The space had character especially being an older building. The space had everything we needed. And the location was very central to downtown Victoria.

Cons:

Didn't realize it was a bi-level suite ( I may have overlooked), which isn't necessarily bad, but if someone had mobility issues , just something to be aware of.

Not very relaxing, would definitely not recommend staying here if you like to sleep at night.
Pros:

The room and the location were just fine.

Cons:

The fact that it is not really a brewery as they don't brew any beer of their own. The rooms have walls that are paper thin, you can hear conversations that the adjoining rooms have. The noise from the bar downstairs went until 2am, and the music was so loud that the walls in our room were vibrating.

The staff was really great!

Cons:

Stayed there before the Victoria marathon, it was quite noisy until 12am hard to get in sleep.

Pros:

The location is fantastic. The room was delightfully quirky.

Cons:

Our room was right next to the pub which turned up the music so loud later in the night that we couldn’t sleep. In addition the noise from the upstairs room was disturbing.

Eine verblüffende Zeitreise.
Pros:

Das historische Zimmer mit den hohen Decken und der alten Ausstattung ist etwas ganz besonderes. Das Bett war sehr groß. Das hat uns gut gefallen.

Cons:

Es roch im Zimmer sehr merkwürdig. Ich habe den Teppich im Verdacht oder ein sehr penetrantes Reinigungsmittel.
Das Personal an der Rezeption schien durchweg eher mißmutig zu sein.

Pros:

very well located, central to everything we wanted, tour to Butchard Gardens, float plane, great restaurants.
should have asked re on one level, ours was 2 levels not good for us, but they have 1 level rooms, so beed to check if issue.
