Lovely property, close to the city centre
Pros:

Great location, right on the waterfront and close to the city centre. The bed was comfy and the duplex room provided lots of space to relax. Reasonably priced car parking located near the hotel.

Cons:

The tops of the exposed beams and the bathroom pod could’ve done with a dusting

Pros:

Fabulous location! Easy walk to lots of fun! The Pub downstairs was great and staff at the pub and hotel were helpful and pleasant! Great Cafe across the street from the hotel and down about a block .Wonderful breakfast and pastries. Enjoy!!

Central Victoria location stay
Pros:

It is in an excellent central location enabling you to walk around the city. I did 25700 steps. It;s very close to China Town and very busy. The adjacent Swans Pub is very busy, but has excellent beers food and staff. It is a historic building. Close to lots of restaurants and bars. Beds were comfortable. Well equipped bathroom and kitchen, plenty of hanging space.

Cons:

It was a bit dark in the rooms despite several odd lamps. Lots of dark furniture. The artwork was eclectic, slightly off beat. The wifi was cut off on the morning we were leaving which was very inconvenient for our onward travel plans. NOT GOOD at all.

Convenient, Clean, Cost Effective. We would stay here again.

Wanted to love it; just adequate instead.
Pros:

Liked the decor and uniqueness. Location was pretty good for access to downtown.

Cons:

The room as listed did not describe a loft room. I was traveling with an older person, and getting up the stairs was hard for her. Plus, the bathroom was downstairs and the bed upstairs. Poor design. Had I known, I would not have rented that room, I would have asked for a unit that contained everything in one floor.

The neighborhood was also very rowdy until 1 a.m., so getting to sleep in all that noise was a bit tough.

Pros:

Lovely old hotel in a great location, room was immaculately clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Only criticism is that the windows just had venetian blinds and no curtains so was difficult to get the room properly dark.
