Maintenance Issues Recurring

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times over the past 10 years or so. My past two stays there were a lot of maintenance issues. My stay in December had a shower that didn’t work and my stay this week had no full length mirror because the closet door, which is mirrored, had been removed. So the closet had no door and the room had no full length mirror. The toilet flushed weird and the hair dryer smelled really bad. The hotel is getting older and you have to
hope things work. I did not have a discounted rate and I’m a silver member. I could have stayed at the Ocean Residence Inn or neighboring Hilton or Best Wester 4 star lodgings for less. I went to breakfast at 8:30 and the hot items weren’t replenished. On the plus side the room was clean, the temperature was controllable, bed was comfortable, staff was pleasant. I reported the issues to the front staff when I checked out but got no call or response. Stay away from Room 418.

Great stay
Pros:

Had another wonderful stay. Room was clean and comfortable but what stood out was the staff. Vaughn especially provided excellent customer service - always friendly. Other staff gave us restaurant recommendations and seemed genuinely happy to help.

Loved everything but the pullout couch bed is a little uncomfortable……tolerable, especially if you just throw the toddlers on it and you sleep a certain way but the bed is awesome. Staff is awesome. Breakfast is awesome. They’re totally tolerable with three super loud kids I had to ask my neighbor and he said no I sleep like a baby. I was worried that my kids were gonna wake the entire place up and get kicked out!!!! now it’s been an awesome stay thank you residence and and the one man at checking counter late night old man is awesome. His name is Lou.

Horrible experience.
Cons:

Blood stains on the bedsheets and they suggested I sleep on the couch instead of them changing the sheets. Also have to question the cleaning staff if the sheets had blood on them; they are obviously not changing sheets between visitors.
