The front desk staff was very nice but the hotel is very outdated. The room did not even have a room number but a piece of tape across it with a number! The room smelled very musty almost like stale smoke and the bed was very uncomfortable. Just very outdated but was quiet and clean
Staff is very nice and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Love the balcony
The elevator was scary and halls and elevator very warm.
Nothing, they tried to double charge me for our stay and argued with me about it so I had to call my bank and file a fraud claim. Then they had to move our boys from the room they were initially put in because the door battery went out and wouldn’t open. Our boys got locked out and it took three hours for them to fix it and put our day behind so we had to change our itinerary for that day.
Great staff
Issue with tv remote.
Staff was nice and helpful. No one ever yet begrudged us towels, wash cloths or toilet paper. Parking was easy, free, fenced in and seemed safe. Saw a patrolman in the building, which was comforting. Laundry room was clean, and the little gym was a nice plus. You can work out while you do laundry LOL. There was nearly always coffee in the lobby, but a personal pot in the room as well. I loved the kitchenette. This saved us a ton of money! Bathrooms are huge with lots of sturdy grab bars. This was our second stay, and since it's close to MD Anderson, it worked out perfect for us. Beds were comfortable. An extra light would be nice. The TV worked just fine, but the DVD player lacked a remote. That was disappointing. We need to come back in March for further treatment and tried to book an extended stay, but unfortunately they're already sold out.
I wasn't excited about the occasional roach. However, I know Houston has a huge problem with roaches. As long as none of them hitches a ride home with us I'll deal with it! LOL. The overall experience in this little hotel is really great for people undergoing cancer treatment on a small budget and a huge will to live and be happy!
Very economical for our stay with husband’s hospital stay
TV’s were very difficult bedroom one never could get to play.Had to change rooms room 403 had a huge hazard.Water was on the floor in bedroom behind room AC with the power strip sitting in water.Room was very musky smelling. After changing to room 203 was much better. But tv’s were complicated and one being inoperable
construction, construction and more construction. no access to necessary amenities for an elderly guest. multiple things out of order and not a safe area.
The location close to the medical center
The property has declined in the years and has roaches in the rooms now.
Did not eat had real early appointment at hospital.
