Excellent stay!
Pros:

I stayed here for a marathon in Cary, and the staff and hotel accommodations and staff made it a perfect stay! It was clean, stayed in a room facing the shopping district (so did not hear any traffic off the main road), and the bonus of a microwave and Keurig and complimentary coffee pods in the room truly made a 3:30 AM wakeup call for a race so much easier. I am happy to report my oatmeal heated up great, as did the Keurig, haha! This hotel is literally walking distances to restaurants (and a Fleet Feet, if you have a race nearby!), and super close to other places within 10 minutes of driving.

The lobby and seating area was wonderful too. My run group and I had plenty of room to hang out and have dinner together.

Good location, poor front desk service
Pros:

The hotel’s location is very convenient, making it easy to get around. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast selection was good with plenty of options to start the day. These aspects of the stay met my expectations.

However, the front desk service was very disappointing. As a Diamond member, my status was not acknowledged at check-in, which was surprising. I inquired about a possible upgrade and was told the hotel was sold out. Out of curiosity, I checked the Hilton app during my stay and saw multiple room types — including upgraded categories — available for booking. This made the explanation difficult to understand.

At checkout, I requested a 2 PM late checkout. Again, I was told that while they would “normally” grant it, they couldn’t because the hotel was sold out that day. Once more, I checked the app and found several room types, including my current room category, still available for booking.

The inconsistency between what I was told and what was publicly available online was very disappointing. Transparency and recognition of loyalty status are important, especially for frequent guests. While the property itself has many positives, the front desk service needs significant improvement.

Reliable
Pros:

Have stayed here multiple times for over a decade. It is Reliable and convenient to shopping restaurants and the interstate. While I'm never a fan of window heating/A/C units this one wasn't particularly loud and managed to keep up on spite of record cold temperatures outside.
