Amazing amenities, staff extremely friendly and polite. Private and public onsens were great. The shuttle service worked well.
I would suggest adding a few hooks for towels to hang upon. We were in a family suite and there was not enough places for the wet towels.
Public hot springs.
Private hot springs And location.

Beautiful location with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and resort. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a great view from our window. The staff were polite and welcoming throughout our stay. The onsen was a fantastic experience and definitely one of the highlights of the hotel.
The hotel is quite expensive, and unfortunately there were very limited food options for vegetarians. At hotels of this price range, chefs often try to accommodate dietary requirements, but this was difficult here. Even the miso soup was confusing — we asked three times because the smell made us unsure, and were told the first two times that it was vegetarian, but the third time we were advised that it contained fish. Transport was also a bit inconvenient. The bus stop is quite far, and the complimentary hotel transport starts late in the morning and returns quite early from the ski resorts. Taxis were difficult to arrange in the mornings.
Everything ! The services and facilities on site were amazing!
Nice onsen. Confortable room. Good ski hire. Nice bis drivers.
No room service available. Location is not convenient. Limited destinations via hotel shuttle.
Lovely resort with ski facilities and tranquil nature. Love the snacks provided and love the tranquility of the place yet having everything it requires
Nothing at all
Friendly employees, environment
Nature
Wifi !!!
Slow as in the 90s using a 56 k modem …
Don’t expect to read news, watch a movie , send files
Unacceptable to have a wifi so slow in 2026
NOTHING!
We stayed at this property back in 2018 and we couldn't have said more about it, the staff where amazing and would bend over backwards to accommodate your every need.
Well, hasn't that changed! this stay was terrible!! Rude staff horrible food! rooms not kept up to scratch. For an international resort at 2k AUS a night this place is a joke!
they offer hardly any in house transport to the ski fields no dinner shuttle down into hukuba , we spent around 2k on ubers and taxis just to get around for dinners and to ski and board.
All in all, a terrible show from Sierra hukuba even the staff no English at all! the last visit at least 4 staff members where bilingual and yes i get it we were in Japan , but let's not forget this place boasts being an INTERNATION RESORT! .
If these guys are fed up with us whities don't take our money!!
AVIOD THIS PLACE!!!! LIKE THE PLAUGE
Onsen, family of 4 can live in the same room.
Bathroom in old wing is quite old.
The staff was wonderful. Initially we booked the Junior suite and the accomodations were old and dated. I noticed the suite across from me looked much newer and so they let me upgrade my next two nights to the newer suite for just $100 per night more. Once we did that, we had a much nicer stay. We were a family of four and the updated suite wasn't just nicer, it had a separate luggage room.
Originally the Junior suite was old.
Absolutely stunning and rooms were spacious and comfortable!
Absolutely gorgeous location, great rooms, friendly staff, always happy to help.
Travelling with teenagers, struggled with not having any restaurants / convenience stores near by for them to buy food. Only option was on-site restaurant which was a fancy one that was quite expensive & they were still hungry after their meal.
The private Onsens were amazing especially after a big day skiing / snowboarding!
We used the shuttle each day into the mountain and was great!
Better dinner options at the hotel.
