The place was absolutely disgusting. It wasn't clean the floor had things all over. It looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. The couch was falling apart literally if you sat on it, it was peeling. The bed was hard as a rock. It had a funny smell to it like it had bug spray all over it. At one point I called down to the front desk because I was so disappointed, especially with the couch you couldn't even use it. I mean sitting on it was just nasty and I asked him for a blanket and the woman immediately said oh let me guess it's for the couch so they actually knew how bad it was. They then called me and asked me how my room was and I told him it was disgusting and it was dirty and somebody was going to see about switching rooms and call me back and no one ever called back.
Location
No ice, small room, no real amenities, no breakfast
Waited 10 minutes ringing the buzzer in the dirty 4'x 8' so called entry way on someone to check us in and nobody ever showed up. On top of that they had covered the walls with spider webs and spiders for Halloween.
Location and fair price
The room’s carpet was wet and we had to walk around with slippers on the whole time. Also, the men’s and women’s guest bathrooms in the breakfast lobby were “not working”. Felt like a throw back to the Covid era.
The pool
The 717 i paid and the couch in our room was shredded which is a bacteria risk the pull out couch bed didnt even have a sheet on it and the pillows were gross. Drawers weren't cleaned 😕 I wasnt impressed with their breakfast options garbage left under the couch lazy people didnt put the bumpers on the box spring to hold the bed together so my husband got up in the morning his ankle hit the bar because its so close to the wall and the bar stuck out far his head went through their flat screen tv.
The front desk will tell you they only have 1 roll of tp and all the housekeepers have the rest but then you go to the house keepers and they tell you you need to get it from the front desk. 🙄 Dont forget your favorite german roaches.
The staff
The property is simply not in good condition. It’s not necessarily that everything is old—it’s that everything looks poorly maintained.
You can already imagine the condition of the rooms from the moment you step into the elevator. The breezeway and common areas look terrible and have very poor lighting. Once we got to the room, things didn’t get any better. The room was extremely humid, the furniture was old and literally falling apart, and the A/C didn’t work properly.
I understand that hotels deal with difficult customers and that not every guest will be happy with everything, but people should at least be able to enjoy a clean, comfortable stay for the money they are paying. The common areas should be well-lit and maintained, and the room should feel clean, fresh, and comfortable. Instead, I honestly felt dirtier after taking a shower than I did before. 🙄
This property needs attention. Whoever is managing this hotel is doing a poor job of keeping up with basic maintenance and the overall condition of the facility. The property is clearly overdue for some improvements—not necessarily a complete renovation, but at least proper maintenance, better lighting, working A/C, cleaner rooms, and furniture that isn’t falling apart.
Management needs to invest some time and money into this property because guests deserve much better than its current condition.
