Quiet, Clean, and A Good way to visit in the Villages
Loved the location and the view of the lake. Nice sized room.
If I had to find one thing, it would be the Slow elevator
The rooms were smaller than anticipated. The hotel accommodations were outdated.
Cost was expensive for services provide and room size,
Spacious room, lovely. Much nicer than Brownwood hotel.
For the price, breakfast should be included.
Nice location on the water, close to shops and restaurants. Front desk staff pleasant. Room was clean and spacious. Bed comfortable and nice walk in shower. Appreciated coffee in the morning.
Decor is fine but nothing really special about the design. Lake view is also a pool view, and a full jacuzzi and sunbathers are not really beautiful. Certainly not worth paying extra for. A 4 p.m. checkin and 11 a.m. checkout seems a quite limited stay, again questionable for the price. Service at the bar before closing was not very friendly nor was it pleasant to have people mopping up around you before closing.
Good location and very easy to get around
Location
Bed frames are a bad design and no grab bars in the tub.
Location was great
Watch out for the big wooden bed frames. Design is not good and you can hit your shins.
Nice hotel. Nice setting on a lake. Room was good size and clean. ComfortableA
The hotel is well situated and has an excellent pool area overlooking the lake. A significant negative was the restaurant. When we brought this to the hotel’s attention they were polite but not really interested.
I've been in The Villages for 19 years. I've had numerous people stay at this hotel. I would never have another person Stay there again.
For the price they charge for a room you would expect that the room would be clean. I rinsed some of the shower out while bathing but wished I had a pair of shower shoes like when I was in the navy. The floor in the room had food crumbs or something all over it as well. The front desk called me about ten minutes after I checked in to ask how I liked my room and I told her it looked like the maid skipped out, and then I went by the front desk and explained it again, thinking they might send someone to clean up, but they didn’t, I’d already paid so I guess I no longer mattered. I mentioned it to the lady at the front desk when checking out as well, she didn’t seem to care very much either. I’d recommend staying somewhere else, I know I won’t be returning.
We chose this hotel so that we could be close to the Sumpter Landing Town Center. Location is great for that and we were able to walk wherever we wanted. Nice restaurant at rear of lobby called Calypso that will give you 50% off your second entree before 5:00 p.m. We weren't thrilled with our room. No carpet which is GOOD, very good black out shades and blinds on the windows. But there was no comfy chair to sit in, the lighting was DIM, and there was a plastic cover on the mattress that made sleeping very hot. There is a heated pool outside and many rooms have a nice water view. I would stay here again for the one advantage of being able to walk to Sumpter Landing.
had a mini frig and microwave
nothing
Excellent location to visit the village
No dislikes
the SERVICES WERE FANTASTIC FROM FRONT DESK TO ROOM SERVICES TO FOOD
THE VIEW WAS OUTSTANDING AND VERY RELAXING
the EASY WALKING ACCESS TO AL THAT THE VILLAGES HAS TO OFFER MAKE IT EVEN BETTER
NOTHING
