Love the Churchill stayed there a few times now
We had rooms in the underground area
A very nice hotel and really well located to central York. Staff were great. Ian on reception was full of information about where to go and what to see etc.
We had a ground floor room which suited us. It was a reasonable size with everything we needed supplied. Yes the hotel parking is expensive but it meant we could park up the car for three days and visit York in our own time. Parking in the UK can be very expensive. we paid six UK pounds for just one hour elsewhere so 18 pounds a night/day seems ok to us.
I love the hotel fullstop. We've been coming here for over 5 years its a lovely hotel and the staff are amazing. The location even better.
I don't think the prices they charge to stay you should have to pay for car parking.
I think also they should give people the option to have something smaller hot for breakfast rather than a full English
Hotel was amazing and location is great, a short walk to York centre. Staff were so helpful and vouldnt do enough for our stay, definitely going to rebook. Amazing
Mooi gebouw, toplocatie, fijne tuin en leuk interieur met alles in het teken van Churchill. Lekker ontbijt.
Familiekamer was erg klein, beetje warm en bedompt daardoor. Waterdruk was matig, trillende afzuiging in de kamer naast ons hoorde je de hele nacht, dubbelbed was aan de kleine kant.

Frühstück war lecker, aber verglichen mit anderen vergleichbaren Unterkünften für das Angebot zu hochpreisig.
very frendly staff helpful,knowlageable room was quite got the sun first thing in the morning didnt have breakfast the first day but a champagne breakfast the second day couldn't fault it did like the kitkat instead of the normal custard creams had champagne and chocolates as a surprise for my wife on arrival nice super cooled in a bucket of ice chocs on a cool tray all staff was well dressed (ties) like to say thanks to the waiter who did our breakfast was like haqving your own personal valet very tentive thanks again
being our first time in the Churchill cannot say anything negatve suppose if i thought about it for a year could think of somthing well lets try Mmm no ilked that Errrr no liked that could be possibly NoNo i liked that too sorry couldn't find anything i didn't like
Lovely location, close to city centre, plenty of parking, super room decor and great bar.
Noisy room (111) doors slamming nearby and shower difficult to use !
