Pros:

Lovely hotel, great location
Pros:

Lovely & clean room & hotel throughout. Pizza was great. Great location & parking spaces not too tight. We would return here in the future

Cons:

Staff went down side of hotel next to our room (assuming for a break), heard them loudly swearing to each other (unfortunately the kids heard too). Window was open at the time but I believe we would have heard them still with it shut.
Otherwise, staff were friendly & professional at reception, etc.
Breakfast was ok but a little disappointing, seems overpriced for what you get. Massive bowl of yoghurt, would rather have had a small bowl of it with fruit. Personally would rather have a buffet style breakfast .

Quality hotel for a short stop at York!
Pros:

Great location, a brief walk from the city center and an easy drive in when arriving in a car. Car park by the building, although paid per night.
Great breakfast for its price, very happy.
Staff were very pleasant!

Cons:

Very rough mattress, could feel the springs everywhere. The shower screen is too low, meaning when showering you can accidentally end up with a pool of water on the floor.

Tesis şehre yakın, temiz konforlu bir otel. Kahvaltı ya da yemek almadık, bahçesi güzel görünüyordu. Biz deneyimlemedik. Parka alanı vardı.Otel her şeyiyle çok güzel. Trene valizle rahat bir şekilde 10 dk ya yürünüyor. Şehre de öyle.

Decent hotel.
Pros:

Well located - 10 minute walk from the station. The room was a decent size, clean, with a comfortable bed and decent TV, plus a desk to work from. The bathroom was spacious and had a decent shower too. Relatively quiet - however, it has no air conditioning and so I did have to have the window wide open, which meant a bit of road noise.

Nice, but disappointed
Pros:

Definitely a basic 3 star hotel. Staff were lovely and service was great but the hotel- or our rooms at least- need a bit of TLC. Our double room was tiny; very cramped with just a wardrobe and desk. I struggled to wash my hair in the tiny shower without hitting my elbows off the sides. Overall, the bathroom was just a bit tatty and in need of a refresh.

It would have also been nice to have been told when we booked that our room was next to the railway line. Being warm and needing the windows open meant it was very noisy.

Few standard things we felt were missing- no drinking water in the room, toilet brush or a place to hang towels in the bathroom.

Breakfast was tasty and the bar and dining room were nice, but we didn't feel it was worth the price we paid unfortunately.

A WONDERFUL STAY
Pros:

We stayed here from 19/07/26 to 21/07/2026 the location was ideal only 5 minutes walk into the city.
This hotel met all of our expectations our room was lovely it had everything we needed, breakfast was well worth it it certainly set us up for the day.
The hotel had a lovely outside area for eating and drinking.
The staff were amazing especially on reception we were made to feel so welcome and would not hesitate to stay here again.
Once again thank you all for making our stay perfect.

Would have been great in a room with windows

Was given a bunker room - I had just booked a room on booking.com. You should tell guests on check in that the room has no windows - not good for people who are claustrophobic
