No meal service or bar service on a Sunday evening, and hotel is away from any other amenities

Hotel was very outdated. Badly needs to be freshened up. But on the up-side the Staff were really friendly and breakfast very good

We use this hotel as a base for exploring the surrounding area. Everywhere we visited was an hour or so away. It was reasonably priced, although breakfast wasn't included. All the staff were encountered were genuinely friendly and helpful. Despite the weather being bad we didn't mind spending the extra time at the hotel as our room was warm, spacious and comfortable.
The WiFi signal isn't the best and couldn't be realied upon by someone who is very digitally dependant.
Efforts have been made to made to maintain the hotel but there are a few areas that are the worse for wear but a bit of tlc would go a long way to update it.

Super basic. Shirt drive into town. Convenient option on wild Atlantic way trip. No frills.

Wasn't expecting too much, but it was very pleasant, only a few minutes walk back into Ballina and a very nice breakfast. Easy parking as well which isn't the case with some other hotels locally.

Food Excellent. Rooms could do with a makeover. Staff friendly.

Was a bit apprehensive, stay booked last minute, so wasn't sure what to expect. Hotel OK looking, a little bit dated. Restaurant and bar area is pretty nice. The food, breakfast and dinner, was very good. The bedroom was basic but fine. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Basic hotel, no frills but adequate for a one night business stay. Wouldn’t return for pleasure. Didn’t use the restaurant for diner and breakfast didn’t start until 8am so not able to comment on food.

Great stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms very good. Breakfast excellent. I have stayed many times and it is always good.

This was a comfortable place to crash for the night during our road trip around western Ireland. There was live music in the restaurant when we were there, which was fun! The bathroom could have used some updates and the TV in the room was a tiny CRT, but travelers who don't expect anything too fancy will be happy with the value.

This is the third trip we stayed there. We like the location because we walk to dinner.

Says the hotel is 400m from town it's not . Hotel could do with an upgrade . 2 staff were lovely rest was not . Band playing music during meal which was very loud when you just want to eat and chat . Music stopped at 9.50 on a Saturday night which is ridiculous . Very small ran down hotel more like a b&b but 3 times the price. Would not stay again . Not for kids either .
