Waitress in restaurant
No breakfast. Tub stopped up and the water was sooo hot!!!
The room and bathroom was a nice larger size than normal hotel rooms.
The lobby was pleasant....furniture, lay out.
The bathroom was very clean.
1. The tiny book lights mounted on the headboard area were really not helpful when wanting to see anything. For older eyes like mine it made seeing a struggle.
2. There are no plugs on the outside areas of the beds. You have to be sleeping next to the lamp to plug in a charger and charge your phone. I needed to charge my phone and keep the phone close to me as I was traveling with adult children who were staying elsewhere. You really need more outlets.
3. When we checked in we were invited to come down in the morning for breakfast. We tried to access the bar Saturday evening and told that the bartender closed up early and went home.
4. I woke at 530 am which never happens. I was so excited to have breakfast. When I made the reservation I was under the impression that breakfast came with the room. It made a decision on where we stayed. We like a casual breakfast.
I went downstairs and saw that there was no breakfast being served. I approached the woman sitting in the office behind her desk and asked if breakfast was being served. She let out a cackle and said "Honey it's a holiday. No one is making breakfast for you" I advised her that we were told there would be breakfast when we checked in. She went on to restate her point and she seemed annoyed and incredulous, like I was stupid and I was a bother. I feel like she was scolding me.
I went on further to say that there was no mention online during the reservation. She said "Well there are signs all over the place. You should have been looking."
I felt that she was sarcastic and inappropriate. I felt stupid at the moment for bothering her.
We have family in Stone wood and it was easier for us to stay somewhere because our family is getting older and has limited space. This was the first time in this hotel. I was really disappointed.
I am not a "Karen" and I usually do not get upset about things like this.
We did not eat our breakfast at the hotel. The location is convenient as it just off Route 79 and is very close to a variety of restaurants.
None of the hotels I stay in have a night light to make it easier too go to the bathroom at night necessitating leaving a barroom light on with the door mostly closed.
Excellent room and beds
Excellent location
Breakfast was not included.
The rooms are always very clean. The employees are always very friendly and helpful.
Very clean
Tiny entryway and exit
Very clean rooms and great location!
Not much
When we entered our room, we were checking the beds and found weed gummies in packets between the mattress and box spring. This makes me question how well the room was cleaned before hand. Also, the entire hallway on the first and second floors smelled like weed, SO BAD. Additionally, the people in the room beside us were throwing a ball against the walls making excessive noise at 10:30 at night. The front desk was notified by multiple guests and nothing was done. The front desk claimed to have no other rooms available, but there were hardly any guests there. Also, you have to pay for the breakfast there, with barely any decent options. Overall, do not recommend this location for any stay.
It was very clean, the staff were super nice, and most importantly the beds were so cozy!
Staff was very friendly and the room had everything we needed and was very clean. Food and gas was right up the street.
The location
I wish they offered free breakfast
