GrandStay Hotel and Conference

When I checked in there was no facial tissue in the empty dispenser. House keeping gave me a 1/2 empty box. The was a roll of paper towel on the kitchen sink that had a dried brownish liquid dried on one end, Issue with the toilet not flushing, called 3 times to the front desk, no answer. Called the hotel direct, again no answer. One of my colleagues who checked in earlier than I did not have any housekeeping service for days this including no clean towels, except for a hand towel. Electrical plate off one of the outlets. I came here to see how this hotel would work for our traveling employees, NO THANKS. I would not use this place again for business travel.

The Grandstay room was dirty, mold in bathroom, cracks and water damage on ceiling. We had a 2 bedroom suite and there was not a single good word I can say about the hotel. We left after1 night not the 5 we were reserved for. The hotel refused to refund our money but there was no way we could have stayed there. I have asthma and the air was very unhealthy between mold, mildew and lack of cleanliness. It was an awful experience!!

Important parts of the rooms were clean, but then walls and light fixtures and such were not. Hot tub was out of service. One staff member was amazing and friendly and helpful and the other one was one of the rudest least helpful people I’ve ever met. Terrible. Lots of parking. Breakfast was good. There for four days and got zero housekeeping. Had to track down clean towels and coffee and never had our linens removed or garbages emptied.

I tried to book a one-night stay in Lake George for 10/11/25, but when I got my confirmation it showed 10/25/25 instead. I called right away to fix it and they gave me the total runaround—no help, no refund, nothing. The customer service is awful. They basically just took my money and shrugged. Don’t use this app! Book directly with the hotel and save yourself the headache.

Some Room Kitchen ceiling lights were out, kitchen faucet sprayed water from its under side half way up to the spicket in Rm. 315. The Hot Tub next to pool inoperable. Site had the front desk attendant try to fix to no avail.

Breakfast was awesome! Staff throughout the facility very Friendly and Helpful!!

Nice person at the desk upon arrival. He did spoke a tad fast, but he meant well. Nice dude.

I'm sure at one point.It was a very nice hotel in poor condition. No licensure in the one elevator, to close the doors in the elevator the button was broken. In our room, the dishwasher was not even put in properly and interesting smells, simply painted over cabinets, new flooring. So 1/3 the way done in terms of reconditioning rooms.. Hallway Carpet, not in good condition. Bathroom also not very clean or kept up. Bathtub with a shower filled up around your ankles. The young lady that checked us in never smiled, never greeted me, non-helpful.

Very easy to find. Restaurant had amazing food. Hot tub was not very warm

Friendly staff. Loved the kitchen/living area with the separate bedroom. You felt like you had an apartment.

Husband loved the juice/coffee machine was on all the time. Several xs we came back late and stopped to get a drink.

The breakfast/dining area is nice and clean. Some hot choices as well. Loved the location.

Excellent staff at deak

We booked the 1 bedroom suite with 2 queen beds. Very spacious. It had tons of room. Full fridge, microwave and 2 burner stove. They must have built that hotel well cause i didnt hear anyone on either side of me or above me at all. I stayed for 5 days and the only time i heard anyone from my room was 2 ladies in the hallway laughing really loud. Thats it and my room was right infront of the elevator. Very nice staff and accommodating. I as there with just my toddler and i and felt completely safe. Great location, around alot of restaurants and shop. Convenient! We'll definitely stay here on my next visit.

Our toilet didn’t flush, there was no lights in the living room. The pool area was not cleaned. The hot tub didn’t work. Yikes guys

The staff was limited.
The suite we got had little to no dishes, tv didnt work, pool area had gum stuck to window, no towels,

Grandstay made an amazing home base for a wedding weekend. The larger rooms made us feel welcome and not overwhelmed. Staff was great and patient with us. Rooms were so comfortable and clean. We'll be back. Thank you so much.
