Cons:

I ve never experienced a more unfriendly front desk staff. That has nothing to do with a grand hotel. they treat customers like in prison.
The managements seems like they dont care as they are several complaints here before. location nice, hotel old but ok for 2 night, staff a no go

The worst expensive hotel in which I have ever stayed

The room had cut toe nails on the floor beside the bed, the mattress cover was stained and mattress itself was worn out and was sunken in, dirty windows (we picked the river room view for the VIEW), one earring left on the desk, infilled soap dispensers in the bathroom and an annoying noise coming from the outdated air conditioner that has prevented us from sleeping beside the sunken in mattress
Very expensive for what it is $165 for a nightmare

Het gratis parkeren, centrale ligging aan de Mississipi rivier, de medewerkers bij de receptie waren erg vriendelijk

Cons:

Je betaalt extra voor river view om vervolgens grote bomen voor je kamer te hebben. Het ontbijt was waardeloos, onvriendelijk personeel daar, je kunt niet zelf opscheppen, onvoldoende brood en yoghurt wat ook niet bijgevuld werd, broodrooster was kapot waar ook niks aan gedaan werd. De bank in de hotelkamer was smoezelig met allemaal vlekken

Well located in town. Bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The floor in front of the air conditioner was completely drenched. The unit clearly wasn’t working properly. Also, the shower did not drain well causing water to build up. The cold water from the faucet never got cold—just stayed lukewarm. The check-in was unfriendly.

Overall the stay was just fine since main attraction for us was the Mississippi River relaxing
Pros:

Location on Mississippi River was quite nice and relaxing.

Cons:

We did not find the staff very friendly at check in or for breakfast. Breakfast staff didn't talk much and were on their phones mostly. I thought the breakfast could have better. Didn't understand the need to serve us unless that was a health department requirement.

Sehr gute Lage direkt am Mississippi River. Gute Ausgangslage um das kleine Städtchen zu besichtigen. Schöne kleine Bar im Hotel.

Cons:

Außen hui innen, pfui. Zimmer leider nicht sauber und deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Bei uns gingen leider keine TV Geräte und auch einige Lampen haben nicht funktioniert. Zimmer extrem Hellhörig, sodass man bis tief in die Nacht alles mitbekommt. Außerdem hatten wir leider am nächsten Morgen, 2 Kakerlaken im Bad und im Wohnzimmer liegen. Zum Glück waren wir nur eine kurze Nacht dort.

Breakfast was good.

Cons:

The front desk personnel was very unfriendly. The room (no.226) was not up to par. The sofa had stains on it, the carpet had stains on it and needed to be replaced or at least a good cleaning. For such a beautiful hotel the room was very disappointing , doubt we will ever stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone.
