The hotel is very nice and the staff are friendly.
It's frustrating to pay for parking on top of the hotel price when you traveling a distance. This is the first hotel that has charged parking. We may look at different hotels who don't charge parking fees.
Breakfast was good.
Carpet in our room had blood stains on it cleanliness was poor
Evening happy hour drinks were good but once the snacks were empty they did not refill to almost the end of happy hour. the snacks emptied our quickly with no refill.
Also didn't like that we had to pay for parking
Also one of the elevators made noise all night long
Breakfast was fantastic, with made-to-order omelets and pancakes.
Shower could use an upgrade - old tub, shower head was falling apart. Still functional though.
Breakfast was great The beds were very comfortable!
Our room was hot and couldn’t get it cooled off despite turning the thermostat down and fan up etc….plus there was mildew on our shower curtain.
Paying for parking!
Good location and friendly staff.
Outdated, filthy carpets, stained shower, and not great bed. Bartender took my glass to give me another drink. She used the original glass dipping it into the ice to fill. Scary given so many germs.
There was no bacon on the bufo
add bacon
Outdated, Neglected, and Unsafe – Avoid This Tired Property
As a frequent international and domestic traveler logging 50–60 hotel nights annually, I’ve experienced a wide range of properties Worldwide. The friendly, efficient front desk staff during a busy check-in was the sole positive here.
Unfortunately, Room 420 was in appalling disrepair, desperately needing a full renovation that appears long overdue. Stained lampshades on every light, a damaged living room table lamp (the top and base were split), rust and chipped fixtures throughout the bathroom, a worn and unappealing bathtub floor, and a sink that drained so slowly it left standing water after minimal use. The closet door was jammed, with its top track partially detached and dangling dangerously. Most alarmingly, the carpet was severely buckled in the center—a blatant trip hazard and safety risk that caused me to stumble badly in the dark, nearly resulting in serious injury if hadn’t caught myself on the worn desk..
The decor, furnishings, and carpeting felt decades old and heavily worn, with no evidence of recent updates despite persistent guest complaints spanning years. This falls embarrassingly short of the modern, upscale standards I’ve enjoyed at other Embassy Suites.
Unexpected fees compounded the frustration: on-site self-parking at $11 per night (third-party managed, in a rundown lot with chronically limited spaces) and potential in-room WiFi charges, neither transparently disclosed on booking platforms like GOVx, MemberDeals, Priceline, or Armed Forces travel..
At the premium weekday rate charged, this stay was outrageously poor value and bordered on unacceptable for a Hilton-brand hotel. I strongly advise potential guests—especially families, seniors, or those expecting reliable maintenance—to choose a newer property in the Omaha area instead. I certainly won’t return.
Update: Post-stay, I contacted the hotel; an agent promised a callback from the general manager the next day—it never came. Reviews and conversations with other guests confirm these issues (outdated rooms, maintenance neglect, hidden fees) have plagued the property for nearly a decade, with little meaningful improvement. My review garnered only a generic, copy-paste response.
Helpful Tip: The adjacent Cabela’s offers free overnight parking (up to 24 hours, including for larger vehicles) with advance permission—often a safer, more convenient alternative to the hotel’s paid lot.
Staff was friendly
Very dirty
We go here every year around Christmas time and love it so much!! The whole family gets together, swims, and plays fun games!
The breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Unique room
There seemed to be a mildewy smell and mold bothering me as I'm allergic to mold.

We had a great experience at LaVista Embassy for our recent girls trip. Spacious clean rooms, great breakfast, & social.
Very accessible, quiet, and clean!
It is a little dated!
Worse hotel ever! How are people giving this hotel this many stars? We got in from traveling late around 12am. When we got into our room the bed or room smelled like URINE!! I ended up and slept out in the couch! We are also right next to the elevator which now I’m hearing go up and down. NEVER again. Do better Hilton.
