Toilet ran loudly all night first room we were in (16-17 April), they moved us to another room (17-18 Apr) and no hot water in shower, air conditioner did not work, several light bulbs out. Only one of the two elevators working for the 11-srory building. NEVER STAY THERE!!!!
Location and everything about it
Location is brilliant, so is parking and our receptionist very friendly!
It is dated and needs some attention and money spent on it. The lift is tatty, no ice on the top floor and you have to find a staff member to let you in the gym!
Great to be close to every thing but didn't get any sleep as bar across the street had doors open and I could hear music all night. Shower in room 906 had two tempatures scalding hot or cold as ice. No maid service. Parking by Valet only when they were around. If you have to leave you better start on it two hours in advance. Not worth the price.
Diondre was extremely helpful with valet. He was very thorough with the process. The very best service I have experienced with parking downtown.
We stay at Hampton Inn’s whenever we travel. This has to be by far the worst one we have stayed in. The building is old and out of date. Not sure if it is on a very safe street or the worst street in town. 5 police cars were parked along the street at different locations. The filter on the heat vent was filthy. The curtains were falling off the rails. No parking, rude check-in clerk, no offer of the usual water or breakfast info, and to top it off we found lice in the bed. Quickly checked back out and re booked at another Hampton Inn. Stay away!
Not the hotels fault but the construction that was going on .
I just wrapped up a stay at the Hampton Inn Downtown Montgomery and had a great time. Huge shoutout to Evan Gordon for being so awesome and making sure I was totally taken care of. He really went out of his way to help me out, and you can tell he actually cares about the guests. It’s those small details and his friendly vibe that made the whole trip feel easy and welcoming. If you’re heading to Montgomery, definitely look for Evan because he’ll make sure you’re treated right!
The property was in a good location
The refrigerator didn’t close and water dripped on the floor. The vent hummed all night and day.
Horrible
Black mold. No cleaning service. Floors nasty
location
room not up to good standard
Location and historical age of hotel was great. Room was spacious and clean.
Currently being updated and one elevator and floor ice machine were out of service. Street noise was bothersome on one side from a bar.
Location and building has an old southern character just needs freshening up.
Needs some love and tender care to get the best experience from the hotel. Layout is great and has charm just needs decide and furniture refreshing.
I travel every week and typically stay in Hilton’s and this is by far the worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in. It is absolutely filthy. The carpets are badly stained and nothing looks like it’s been vacuumed in weeks. There is no toilet paper holder. There is no microwave or refrigerator although my daughter’s room had those but the refrigerator was broken. There is mold in the showers in both rooms.
Making it worse, it is a place where dragster’s at night come to race. Thank goodness I had earplugs.
Some signs indicate that they are currently making improvements, but I highly doubt that this will be a nice place unless they burn it down and start over again.
