Great for our short stopover on route to Northumberland

We will stay at Eastwood again when visiting our son.
Pros:

The room was very good except for the temperature. We were cold so got into bed. I did go to Reception to ask about it and was told it was timed to come on but nothing changed. Breakfast was very good.

Good birthday break a very peaceful stay
Pros:

Very good gym & steam room always enhoy using these it was very quiet as there was a wedding on at the time
Breakfast was good staff were very friendly

Cons:

Went to the restaurant for dinner had the pork fillet was a bit dissapointed with the size it was more like a childs portion
Also very loud in the evening so dont go for a romantic evening
Wouldn't eat at the restaurant again

A great time was had by all. The hotel delivered everything it promised.
Pros:

We came for a family party. The staff were very attentive. The pool and games room were very popular with our group. The breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

Nice hotel only fault was it had a conference on and on Saturday morning from around 7oclock the noise off the people in the corridor s was horrendous doors banging shouting in the corridors it was like that all morning spoilt the stay why would you have a conference on a Saturday?

Great location for our Motorcycle trip around the Peak District. The reception and restaurant serving staff were brillia

Lovely building with great facilities, the staff, especially the front of house, were exceptional

Cons:

It’s a long walk from the far end of the building to the restaurant and leisure club. Housekeeping need to deal with the mould around the handles and chrome ware but we are being very picky

Pros:

Breakfast was buffet style and was superb with plenty of choices including healthy options, staff friendly and helpful, check-in instructions easy to follow, inclusive healthclub, swimming etc a nice added bonus

Cons:

with the hotel also offering functions was sometimes quite busy and noticed the outside bins around the hotel were full throughout the whole weekend

Beautiful place
Pros:

It has a lovely relaxing atmosphere, a home from home feel with beautiful grounds & spotlessly clean rooms.
Stayed for one night then had to book to stay again as we enjoyed it so much.

Cons:

We waited a long time for our evening meal our 93 year old grandad wanted to try venison for the first time but when our meals arrived they were all stone cold so we had to get a £75 refund & get a taxi elsewhere for food.
The staff were helpful & prompt about it.
