Stayed here for three nights while having appointments at the Ege University Hospital. Absolutely ideal as the hotel is situated within the Campus and so all departments are within walking distance.
The hotel itself used to be a part of the hospital and has been fairly successfully remodelled, although its origins are still obvious.
Rooms and public areas are comfortable and exceptionally clean. There are well stocked minibars and tea/coffee facilities. One downside is that smoking is permitted and our room had a distinct odour of stale smoke, fortunately not overpowering and did not particularly affect us.
Restaurant food was ok, but staff certainly need some training and are rather inattentive.
We were happy with the advertised price and even happier when we received a substantial discount perhaps because we are retired.
Free parking is available just outside the hotel.
Strongly recommended.

Not worth the money

A good hotel that has seen better days. Room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the rear of the hotel. AXfridge and kettle in the room which was great for a coffee befure breakfast. Excellent bathroom with a great shower.

Banyo temiz değildi. Oda da terlik yoktu. Banyo da sabun yoktu. Terlik ve sabunu 2 kez istememize rağmen gönderileceğini söylendi ancak gönderilmedi. Tv çalışmıyordu. Söyleyince düzeltiler ancak tek kanal çekiyordu. Yatak çarşafları temizdi. Odalar sessizdi.

Oda aydınlatması çok kötü, duş yer sifonu o kadar yavaş gidiyor ki duş alırken ayaklarımız suyun içinde kalıyor, oda kapısında temizlik işareti olmamasına rağmen bir kere odaya girmeye çalıştılar, bu şekilde rahatsız edilmek çok kötü, bir sabah 9.57 de kahvaltıya indiğimizde kahvaltı kaldırılmıştı, oysaki giriş yaparken resepsiyonda bize söylenen saat 10.30 a kadar kahvaltı olduğuydu, kahvaltı çok yetersiz, geç saate kalırsanız yiyecek bir şey bulamayabilirsiniz, izmir otelinde boyoz olmaması ayrı bir ironi, otoparkı çok dar ve yetersiz, minibardaki ücretler yüksek, ilk defa suya fazlaca para verdik, asansörlerden sadece biri çalışıyor, 10 dk asansör beklediğimiz oldu, otel genel olarak eski ve yetersiz, verilen parayı haketmiyor

Still avoid like the plague! Still no response from my original review so I guess that says it all.
I would never ever return to this hotel it was the pits.
Dirty, curtains falling off, offered damp bedding, cigarette burns on all furniture. Just diabolical

Worst hotel ever. Cigarette burns on most hard surfaces, stained carpets and walls - just horrrible. Reception was ok but every other part of this hotel is miserable. Dingy, musty, rooms stank of smoke. Food very basic. Asked for duvet as just a thin blanket on the bed - they brought a damp duvet! Curtains held on the rail by tissue paper and came off the rail when tried to open. Just awful.

hotel to be at least reconditoned, breakfast normal, wifi so so, kind staff with english to improve.

The hotel was so old. Carpet was dirty, The dinner was awful. little dishes without taste. If this hotel is cheap you can stay, ıf you find an other hotel with same price, don't stay here. Breakfast is finishing quickly and they don't put new plate. Sahile uzak, dışarıya çıkınca gezilecek yer yok.

Gerçekten ciddi bir yenilemeye girmesi gerekiyor. Oda duvarlarında çatlaklar, pencere açılıp kapanmıyor, oda değişikliği yapılmıyor ve oda leş gibi kanalizasyon kokuyordu
