Best breakfast ever! And fantastic service. Clean, nice and well located. Can't ask for more.
Overall, hotel was good and service was good. Except for the service at breakfast.
During breakfast, I was helped by a young staff member who was very friendly and provided great service. Unfortunately, this was completely overshadowed by her colleague, who was an older woman mid 40s. When I stood next to her and said good morning, she completely ignored me. Later, when I tried to order a cappuccino, she just looked at me with an annoyed face and did not only ignore me but also refused to help me. Even though I tried several times to get her attention, she kept ignoring me.
In the end, she sent her younger colleague to help me instead. I have honestly never experienced such rude and unprofessional behavior in a hotel before. This was extremely disappointing and really ruined the experience. Terrible personality, which makes me not want to go back to the hotel again. My colleagues experienced the same problem with her.
We had a very good experience with this hotel.
It was clean and very closed with transportation.
Everything was smooth and easy.
Thank you for the best room ever supurior bed room bed was like heaven room was amazing staff are some off the best people to have i would love to give the staff and the hotel a 5* I would stay here ever time i now come to ROME
Very unprofessional behaviour on group reservation.
We agreed on a reservation for a group of 25 people. Dates, number of rooms and prices were agreed and we were waiting to receive the contract. On a follow up we were told that "our" rooms would have been sold without knowledge of the sales lady.
A day later the rooms were re-opened with a 50 Euro higher price. No further comments given by the manager. He could no longer be reached via the phone.
Absolutely unprofessional behaviour. We do not recommend the Pulitzer in Rome.
Rooms are small and not well kept. The restaurant staff isn’t helpful and ignores your requests. And the restaurant is in the basement and has a terrible atmosphere. The walls of the hotels are dirty.
I had a group of 40 people staying and will never use this hotel again. It shouldn’t be rated a four star hotel.
The hotel is good value for money with comfortable and clean rooms. (The cleaning staff really deserve a compliment.) Good beds and fine showers. Front desk staff is helpful and friendly.
The location is very convenient next to Metro and Roma 3. But the road is very noisy (bring earplugs). Surprisingly good and cheap coffee-bar next door, and down the road some excellent restaurants.
The facilities/walls (etc.) do need paint jobs and general facelift.
Nice hotel but far from center ,i stayed for take plane next day FCO very close.
An anniversary present from our son of short trip to Rome and Hotel Pulitzer made it very special indeed. Lovely Hotel in great location very near to Metro station, rooms, staff and food all excellent.
Had an issue with air con on first night there and the staff could not have been more apologetic and helpful, they took care of everything and insisted that even thought a technician was called immediately we would be moved to be 100% sure of no further issues and whilst we continued with our day they took care of everything and when we returned we had not only been moved but upgraded to an even more beautiful room with rooftop terrace and amazing view of the City along with a complimentary bottle of wine and glasses also waiting for us to enjoy!
Fantastic place, exceptional customer service and cant recommend highly enough
The website was misleading. The condition of the room wasn’t great. We were on the ground floor and there was a sewage smell in our bathroom. The toilet also ran constantly throughout the night. Lots of noise from the road across from the hotel. The bed was comfortable and it was close to the subway.
The staff were very helpful. The rooms are clean, well-attended, and quiet enough. The first morning we came in, I had to do some work down in the social area. Over night staff brought me an espresso and it was fantastic and well-timed.
The breakfast is one of the best spreads I've sampled at a hotel.
Pulitzer is a gem.
Na
Hotel is close to a bus stop and the metro. We arrived late evening and found the customer service to be slightly lacking. It would of been nice to have been offered a complimentary drink after travelling for hours.
We booked a Superior room and it had a tiny balcony with one chair, because we were a couple it was too small to use. Very disappointing. The room faced the road and the traffic noise was constantly there. The shower was over the bath which can be dangerous if floor is wet. Just a thin tiny bath mat supplied.
The first morning after housekeeping had tidied our room the door hadn't been shut properly so could be just pushed open. Teabags and complimentary water was not replaced for the rest of our stay.
Breakfast was self service with a good choice but hot food was lukewarm.
£7.50 per person per night city tax charged on checkout.
We had to leave early for flight home and asked for an early breakfast as advertised in hotel literature in room. We were given paper bags with prepacked cake, biscuit and pastry with water and an apple. We had paid for breakfast and feel fresh bakery produce and possibly a hot drink would have been a better offering.
Loved property was near public transport!
Great breakfast. Amazing staff.
Close to metro and clean property
First time in Rome and definitely the best option to pick this hotel not one to write reviews but this hotel sold itself.
Staff are amazing very accommodating with everything you ask of them room was beautiful with a balcony and most comfortable bed the only part we’d wish is that it would of been a actual double bed instead of 2 singles put together
Breakfast selection was vary with warm and cold food types and a selection of pastries would of preferred more hot food to be placed in hot food selection but it is understandable due to how much capacity the hotel has.
Overall a lovely experience and if we ever get the opportunity to go back we’d be staying here!
Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Disappointed we had to pay a city tax as the Hotel is far from the city. What’s worse is the first image you see on the advert is what looks like a pool. There is no pool, just a jacuzzi you have to pay for. It even mentions pool in the advert which we only found when we searched hotels with pools. Two Daughters were devastated.Hotel seemed like it was in the middle of the slums.
Our flight was in early morning and actually got to the hotel for 11am/12pm, online it does advertise check in is at 2pm however they let us into our rooms straight away.
The rooms were clean , spacious and maiden service every day between 8:30-2:30pm.
We got breakfast included and opens at 7:30am to 10:30 Monday to Fridays, and till 11am Saturday-Sunday. In terms of food there was some variety however not alot in terms of hot breakfast food , mainly pastries and fruits. Did try the cucumber however was dry so opted to make my self a Sandwhich which the meats were lovely !
Really liked the fact that the hotel offers for free a portable charger for any device for when you’re going out into the city! This was really helpful as the heat was draining the battery from our phones.
The only downside was taxi charges & the rooftop hot tub & loungers aren’t cheap.
Into the city taxis charge about 25€ each way. We decided to rent the scooters which you can find anywhere around on the app ‘DOTT’.
The rooftop hot tub & loungers need to be booked in advance when you get to reception always ask as they can be fully booked. It is 25€ per person in the evening and 15€ per person in the morning.
Not the 4 stars I would expect. Small room, uncomfortable beds, limited breakfast options.
