I booked this for my brother and paid in advance, when he arrived at the hotel the receptionist insisted on taking a swipe of his credit card, she said that they would only take 1p and the refund it as it was to approve the car parking, A few days after he checked out they took £120 from his credit card without notifying him, when we challenged this they said that it was because he’d been smoking in his room, they then produced a video showing a cigarette stump and some ash on the window ledge of the bathroom, we told them that this was obviously staged as my brother is 73 years old and has never smoked, he even tidied the room and made the bed before he checked out. The hotel aren’t interested and are adamant that they are in the right, my brother has checked with his credit card company and they didn’t even take a penny as they stated, this is obviously a scam and we will be taking this further,
I booked the Antoinette because of its proximity to The Wimbledon theatre. Didn't really know what to expect, but I was really happy when we arrived! Although from the outside looked abit tired the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room 204 was lovely very big with the added surprise of a small balcony. Very comfortable bed. Can't comment on food etc as we didnt have breakfast there. But overall great stay would return again.

A well located hotel with limited parking, friendly and knowledgeable staff who were flexible to our requirements. Check in was quick and delivered professionally.
Room was very comfortable with the ability to heat or cool as required. Good selection of hot drinks on the hospitality tray.
The only downsides were no blind in the bathroom and the lift is very small, just minor issues though that did not affect our stay.

Location was good, it was right on several bus routes. Having parking was great.
The hotel has a lift but it is very small. The windows are double glazed but it is still a little noisy - but that is to be expected for the location.

The staff were attentive and very helpful when I couldn’t open my window which was delt with immediately. A clean room , a comfortable bed .
The only thing that lets it down is the outside of the hotel looks , and is neglected with awful canopies looming over the windows .
Close to all Amenities. Perfect for bus, tube and train travel. With plenty of different choices of Restaurants close by.
