I left my room for one hour, I come back and it stinks like someone was in my hotel room spraying some horrible aroma. Room was a little foggy, room had an extremely strong aroma that it was difficult to breathe . My wife was coughing a lot .! Told the front desk manager , he walked in and out of the room . He was there less than 1 min and said it was fine. I ended up leaving without a refund , that is how horrible the experience was. Do not come here !
Awful hotel, worst I’ve ever stayed in my 50 years of life. This is a Medicaid/section8/welfare hotel. Very dirty, police action, people living there on s8 with cats, dogs, kids, screaming and yelling bouncing on the floors. Hallway was scary and when you walk down it, you can feel the bounce in your step due to the poor construction of this awful building and hotel. RedRoof should not allow there name to be on this dump. Lobby smelled like ethnic awful smelly food, was dirty and person at desk barely spoke English and was extremely rude. When checking out I wasn’t granted a late check out despite being a redroof redicard member, and the manager was at the door every 5min past 11am. Threatening police if I didn’t leave by 11:30. I was racing, very bad experience and awful hotel. I folllowed up with a letter to the redroof corporate and bbb, as well as the states attorney office and county commissioner. This place should not be in business, there were active drug solicitation and sexworkers in and out all night. Gross
Everything and anything. Active drug sales and sex workers, homeless and people sleeping in cars from 1980 in lot. Dump!!!!
Close proximity to Hyde Park
Rundown and old, vagrants inside and out, request for maid service several times and never got it, 2 queens-1 unusable broken bed. All flooring was sticky and dirty. Ants in our room on the 2nd floor. Smoking and weed smell throughout hallways in a non smoking hotel.
was able to sleep
didn't realize it was a shelter for poverty
Not much
Bed bugs and curtains with missing clips to hold it up.
The room was clean and comfortable.
The place was very expensive for no breakfast
The hotel was not at fault. You overbooked by four rooms, and I got a call from the hotel the day before stating I did NOT have a reservation due to that.
My room was not clean (except fresh linens) when I checked in but was thoroughly cleaned the next day after I called it to the front desk’s attention. Low $ hotel was as expected other than that. There seemed to be long term tenants 🤔
Awful experience- this might be a hotel where they do human trafficking, the mirror might have been a two way mirror that faced the bathroom, the bathroom door was broken and they had to get tools to get my sister out of the bathroom, there were bed bugs, blood stained sheets, dirty floors and furniture. People were doing drugs in the parking lot. And I haven’t received my refund they promised me.
