The hotel was a good one, with high service but location wise it is not in live casino part. I would rebook here again whenever I be back to Macau

I had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16. Everything was excellent—from the facilities to the overall service quality. The staff were especially friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable.
I would like to give special thanks to Jessica at the reception. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful .

Rooms were spacious and airy, great breakfast selection
No bottled water in the rooms, the shower water pressure was low.
The room was huge and well appointed. The view of the city was remarkable.
Very comfortable bed, quiet rooms, convenient location near the old town. Breakfast buffet featured a large international selection of well-prepared foods. I also liked the provision of a water filter in the room to reduce plastic use.
The check-in queue was absolutely enormous at 3pm, and even though I had already checked in online, staff informed me I still had to queue. In which case what is the point of making you check in online? We ended up going sightseeing for an hour and came back later to check in as we didn't want to waste time queueing. When we eventually checked in, the staff member at reception wasn't particularly welcoming and treated us like we were an inconvenience.
The exterior of the hotel is quite dated and needs refreshing.
No shuttle bus provision which was surprising for such a big hotel.
Breakfast environment very chaotic and seemed a bit disorganised.
after 4 nights at the cotai strip i changed to taipa area for an unforgetable stay at the sofitel macau ponte 16.
my reason to have a stay here was the incredible MJ mansion.
when i arrived mr.sandy the concierge was really helpful and gentile. after check inn he accompannied me to the MJ mansion. i was really surprised about the size, looked bigger than on the webside.
the bathroom with jazuzzi and massive rainshower ,,yes in enjoyed to have a bath there.
there is also a karoke tv room in the mansion..the living room is gorgeous with sofas and two tables ..
the bedroom a masterpiece , felt like the king of pop.
if u book one of the mansions.. there is a big pool on the floor extra only for manions guests.
der club millesieme was closed..that was a bit dissapoining for me because i didnt get any news about the closure before i arrived. so i had my dinner and brekfast at the mistral restaurnat on floor 6. hopefully they will reopen the club millesieme again.
the sofitel is a short walk away from old quarter macau and the other casinos, but offers a great view to mainland china.

my flight to the next destination was at 10p.m , so when i went down at 12 for check out...the reception gave me the option to stay til i have to leave at 7.pm..
that was so great so i went up again to enjoy the mansion pool and enjoyed again the massive MJ mansion. i left the sofitel very happy.
yes i will be back in macau in october and i m thinkin to have another stay in one of the other mansions ...the japanese designed mansion.
see you again later this year and thanks for the special time i had .
