Good hotel overall, but they're doing construction (as of October 2025) and there's noise in strange hours. Also, I wanted to take the stairs instead of taking the elevator and there were a bunch of people in the stairwell, sitting and eating on the floor. This is perfectly normal for India, but not in a hotel that charges hight dollar prices. One more thing: the area the hotel is in is not great.
Hotel is amazing. Food is fantastic and the breakfast buffet mind-blowing. Who knew watermelon juice is a thing. Don't hesitate. Just book here.
Room size, cleanliness and bath amenities
Wonderful property
BE AWARE ABOUT AIR CONDITIONING
I came from Australia and lived in room 506 in December 3024
I was not comfortable in my room as it was not cool enough as required
Technician and the Manager confirmed me these are centrally air/water cooled room and NOT air conditioned
The surroundings can be better. The gate close to the hotel was closed and it was a bit inconvenient to walk all the way over to the other gate
Very good
Room was a bit dirty and basic
Nice place to rest
The staff were really nice.
Room was spacious and comfortable, maybe a little dated but clean. The gym and spa facilities are quite old. Pool has a lot of pigeons flying around it and not very clean so didn’t use it. Rooftop bar/restaurant was excellent, delicious Indian and international food and very reasonable prices.
This hotel is lovely. We had a newly renovated room and really enjoyed our stay.
The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet and dark for sleeping.
We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and would go up to the rooftop to catch the sunrise & sunset - very beautiful! Highly recommend if you're in Jaipur.
We had a comfortable stay. The breakfast was great
it is a good property with good food.Hard drinks are offered with very decent price.
Staff at the Lemon Tree were fantastic. They all spoke excellent English and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant had some excellent food at reasonable prices and the Pastry Chef produced a large selection of beautiful sweet treats.
The check in process was smooth and the staff was very cordial and nice..Room service was also upto the mark..The breakfast was amazing and we were pretty impressed
Things I liked:
Room and indoor facilities were clean and seems fairly well maintained.
Breakfast was good.
Staff was helpful.
Things I didn't like:
Rooftop pool has a lot of pigeons around it and a lot of their droppings near it. Seems pool is used a bird bath. I didn't use it because if this.
Rooftop bar/restaurant was under construction (9/23) so wasn't able to use.
Location is not really in walking distance of anything so need to get a cab to go anywhere. Not a huge issue though.
Lemon Tree almost ruined our whole trip to Jaipur because of the scam at their travel desk (which was manned at times by Hotel staff). The scam goes that you cannot visit any of the forts (major tourist attraction) unless you go with a tour group. Then also because the forts are on a hill they charge an extra separate fee for the hill climb. I have a hearing disability but my hearing aids were in and I heard and understood perfectly what they were saying so if they come on here and say different don't believe them. Fortunately we found a driver on our own who took us to the forts for much less than their tour cost. The hotel rooms were clean and Ok. They should not allow the tour desk to outright lie about how to get to the forts. I also found out there is a bus that goes to Amer and the nearby forts. Some hotels are forthcoming about tips like that but not Lemon Tree Jaipur.
