Location, location, location!
Pros:

Loved this hotel. Large, comfortable room and bathroom, excellent bar and restaurant and right across the road from Trim Castle! The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating, plenty of car parking, only wished we'd stayed another night.

Brilliant
Pros:

Beautiful property. All the staff are really smiley and welcoming. Went for a 50th with a room booked. They allowed us to use the other rooms smoking area. Very friendly.

Cons:

A little bit far out of Dublin. But worth the drive as it has a beautiful 360 view.

Do not stay here if you are expecting to sleep peacefully.

The location is good and the staff were pleasant.

Cons:

Unless you have a preference to subject you and your family to a sleep depravation experiment, then this hotel is not for you. The hotel has practically no sound isolation from the main function room on the 1st floor to the bedrooms on the 3rd floor (which is as far away as is possible). There was a wedding on during our stay and the music boomed into our family bedroom until 2am. It's my fault I should have read the reviews related to noise beforehand (I did, but that was at 1am that night when it was impossible for all of us to sleep). Message to the Trim Castle hotel, if you are going to be a wedding venue then that's fine but don't book other guests when those events are on, if you can not provide the basics such as the ability to have a decent night's rest. DON'T. BE. GREEDY.
