Pros:

The location was good for what we were there for.

Cons:

The pictures showed 2 treadmills on the website and when I went to go exercise there were no treadmills. I was very disappointed because it was too cold to walk outside.

Pros:

Excellent staff makes an everyday chain hotel something so much better.
Pros:

The front desk staff member was genuinely kind and it was a nice welcome after a long day of travel. The breakfast buffet staff also had top notch customer service skills.

Cons:

The towels could use a refresh.

Pros:

When we entered our room, there was an issue with the heat. I contacted the front desk, and they immediately moved us to another room. Their customer service was outstanding.

Just ok
Pros:

Just ok. The hotel could be cleaner, seemed a bit understaffed. If you have to stay in Smithfield for a night or two, guess it's ok but if you can, look at other towns or hotels in the area. Have stayed in other Hampton Inns that are much better, this one seemed a bit run down, especially for a hotel that is only about 10 (?) years old.

I won't be back
Pros:

Upon arrival the person at the front desk was pleasant and polite. I went up to my level and immediately after getting out of the elevator there was a pile of trash in the hallway. Walking down the hallway to my room the hallways were freezing. I got into my room walked in and the first thing I noticed was the ceiling was falling apart in an area. I went to go get ice in the ice and vending machine room and there's no vending machine at all. My room was a king size bed. The king size bed did not have king size pillows. Plus the pillows were horrible. Picture a marshmallow but cut it paper thin, that's your pillow. Horrible night sleep. I went to the front desk at 5am to ask for a different pillow and was told there were none. At least the showers were warm and had good pressure. I went down to the Continental breakfast and after seeing the minimal selection I just left instead of eating anything. I won't be back. Ever!

Well, needless to say: this place is worth revisiting again and again👍

The staff did an excellent and awesome job making us feel at home 😀 All of staff was so friendly to us and the two dogs we brought with us - we highly recommend you to visit Hampton Inn & Suites in Providence/Smithfield, Rhode Island👍 We rank it 10 out of 10!
