Great location but wouldn’t stay until building works are finished.
Pros:

Location is perfect.

Cons:

There was building work going on which was not disclosed on booking. Basically a building site within the stairwells, dust on our clothes etc. drilling work woke us at 8am.
Also didn’t acknowledge a 40th birthday special request on booking. This may not be a given but most places we’ve stayed for special occasions are always happy to give a nice view or little touch in the room.

Fantastic location, nice staff, good value, take ear plugs.
Pros:

The location is amazing, nice clean rooms.

Cons:

You could hear the other guests in the other rooms too clearly, so I’m guessing they would’ve also been able to hear us. This can affect your sleep as we had a neighbour that was coughing every two minutes and noisy, shame really.

Het hotel wordt verbouwd
Pros:

Would stay again, and will be recommending this hotel to friends visiting Bruges
Pros:

Lovely comfortable room that had been recently renovated. And the location is exceptional. Right in the centre of this beautiful town, about 150 metres from the main square. You could not be better located.

Cons:

Nothing to do with the property. Google maps wanted to take us through parts or the town that aren’t accessible during the day due to Tourists. But that could be avoided no doubt by better planning and approaching the town from the other side.

Shame about the timing for us with the building work. Overall a nice place to base yourself to visit Bruges, but for us
Pros:

The location to explore Bruges was perfect.
There was a lovely seating are outside with a great view of the canal.
The bathroom looked as though it had been recently refurbished to a good standard.
Room was clean.

Cons:

Our main issue was there was no facility to hang/store clothes in our room apart from 2 shelves. We really needed a wardrobe or a clothes rail. There was building work going on with noise from early morning, but it generally didn’t affect our stay and saved us the need to set our alarm clock!
We would have had a perfect canal view were it not for the Scaffolding outside our room and we had to keep our curtains closed while the workmen were outside.

Incredibly central.
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent. Lovely view over the canal.

Cons:

There was no mirror in the bedroom and the only clothes hanging space was a rail with hangers above the kettle - useless for any item longer than a shirt!
