Un verdadero 4 estrellas
Pros:

El hotel está idealmente ubicado, en pleno centro a la vez que frente a la estación de tren y al puerto con vistas desde la habitación a la gran mezquita. La zona de restaurante y bar ha sido renovada y ha quedado muy bien. El desayuno es muy bueno. Hay un miembro del staff encargado de cocinarte los huevos a tu gusto.

Cons:

Las habitaciones empiezan a necesitar un toque de renovación. Se nota en algunos detalles; estado de algunas lámparas, de los pomos de puertas. La recepción se está renovando y se accede actualmente por ascensor.

Un Novotel que no está a la altura de la cadena
Pros:

El personal de recepción atento y resolutivo. La habitación estaba bien, limpia y equipada con lo justo. Aunque para 4 personas la encontramos con 3 almohadas y 2 toallas de baño.

Cons:

El desayuno poco variado, mucha bollería repetida en varios sitios del buffet para abultar, estancia de 3 noches al 3er día la bollería era la misma que el primero, magdalena y brownies secos y pasados. No reponian lo que se agotaba y no estaban atentos a nada sino a recoger. Desayuno identico los 3 días sin ningún cambio ni variacion, muy pobre en embutidos, incluso locales, muy pobre en quesos.
La habitación le faltaba toallas y almohadas que tuvimos que reclamar en recepción. La tarjeta de la habitación se desactivaba a cada vez que saliamos de ella y teníamos que bajar de la planta 12 a la recepción a cada vez hasta que lo solucionaron.
Cenamos en el bar del hotel, fue un autentico desastre. Pedimos para los 4, unas pastas, una tabla de queso, un sandwich de salmón y una ensalada de gambas y aguacate. Esperamos más de 45 minutos, el salón estaba vacío. Cuando reclamé, llegarón los platos, la tabla de queso era las sobras de queso del desayuno (literalmente) lo devolví y no me lo cobraron, las pastas un paqueton con nata y trocitos de embitudo de pavo y lo unico que salvaba era la ensalada de aguacate y gambas.
Nuestra sensación, por haber estado ya en otros hoteles de la cadena, es que este no está a la altura de la marca. Les vendría muy bien que alguien de calidad les haga una visita para reajustar los estandares de Novotel.

Fine to rest your head, briefly!
Pros:

The hotel is going through a renovation and the bit that they’ve done (bar/restaurant) is beautiful.

Cons:

I always think hotels should be upfront and explicit if they’re doing any major renovation work, so we were off to a bad start when we arrived to what presented as a building site. There were signs to the new reception and after a wild goose chase, we found that the new reception wasn’t functioning yet and we needed to go to the original reception (which was where the taxi had dropped us off). Staff were not very forthcoming or friendly despite standing directly in-front of them at check in, we were ignored.
Initially we were put into a room which stank of stale smoke (we had a 1 and a 3 year old with us, so I thought it would have been obvious that an ex-smoking room would not be suitable) and we were then moved to a room which was fine, but the AC was very weak and with four people in a room, it was absolutely swelteringly hot.
We ate in the hotel and the meal was absolutely terrible, which was unacceptable considering the hotel was charging western hotel prices. The saving grace was that the staff waived the bill as an apology.
Reception then rang our room twice late in the evening when our children were trying to sleep (about nothing important) and then persistently knocked on the door, waking the children (we had made it clear we would come down in a minute, we were just putting them to bed).
One of the hotel staff then helped us with our bags the next morning and was shitty with us when we didn’t give him a tip.

Excelente custo benefício para uma noite em Casablanca.
Pros:

A localização para nós que chegamos em Casablanca de trem foi maravilhosa, porque o hotel fica muito próximo da estação de trem (dá para ir a pé). No dia seguinte fomos para o aeroporto e pegamos um trem na mesma estação.
Café da manhã maravilhoso, com bastante variedade, itens consumidos internacionalmentes e produtos gostosos.

Cons:

O ar condicionado do quarto não funcionava bem, tivemos que solicitar manutenção.
