Nowhere near what I expected
Pros:

Attractive building

Cons:

The room was described as a family room, 1 bed with 1 sofa bed. However the room contained 1 small double bed and 1 camp bed with a very poor mattress. The room was noisy as other rooms could easily be heard.

It was ok.
Pros:

Grandure of the entrance. Comfortable beds.

Cons:

Spa rather basic and dated, needed a good scrub. Mould in our bathroom. Housekeeping didn't always replace like for like, no bathmat, no coffee, no clean mugs. Wardrobe hinges broken, no air conditioning in room, menu choice was awful and expensive. Basic breakfast. Hotel is more of a conference centre venue.

Felt expensive for what is offered.
Pros:

The leisure facilities were good. Penhaligon products in the bathroom lovely touch. Staff were friendly.

Cons:

The rooms are a bit dated. Property definitely feels more suited to conference travel than leisure. Bit noisy with doors banging and could hear the motorway. So many notices about what not to do (ie if using a large section of the hotel to provide tea and biscuits for a conference seems could offer to the handful of other guests too?)

Food options at dinner limited and also some of the options weren’t available.
