Lovely grounds and setting, very peaceful
No air con, no room service, no fridge in room, absolute lack of instruction when fire alarm went off, asked reception to book us a taxi and were told to use Uber app
Enjoyed the pool and steam room.
Comfortable bed and excellent shower
The distance we had to walk to our room (we were expecting to be in the mail building, not miles away in the modern extension).
The acoustics in the breakfast room were awful, and to get a drink with our breakfast we had to walk in the opposite direction to where the food was served, and into the neighbouring bar.
Very large and airy room and Very good facilities
There was not much breakfast left by the time we started at 9:15
All the staff were very focused on ensuring all our needs were met. Polite friendly and went the extra mile. Facilities were excellent and we loved the Tepee tent for our meal setting.
We had a large group which may have contributed to the average food served at dinner. Breakfast was fine.
Reliably comfortable hotel in semi-rural location
It was very busy with a wedding and car club meet at the same time. Breakfast a bit chaotic but staff did their very best
Everything was great
Nothing
Front entrance, once you get past that. Very snappy, basic
Majority of property was tired. Needs renovation, bathroom shower leaked.
Breakfast was good.
Room was average, looked like it needed a makeover. The shower was poor and took a LONG time to warm up. It would have been nice to know that the room had been set up for the disabled.
The grounds are picturesque and the location of the rooms to the parking bays
That’s the hot tub was out of order and had been for some weeks according to leisure club members
Set in beautiful grounds and the inside of the main house was lovely decorated
It’s setting
Very worn and tired. Limit menu for dog owners
