Amazing hotel itself, terrible evening meals
Pros:

The hotel itself was amazingly clean, gorgeous grounds and very comfortable room. Most of the staff were very helpful ans polite.

Cons:

The main reasons for our stay hasnt ranked higher are:
- a big one is due to the evening menu. This was far too restrictive and didnt have any options that the lunch or bar menu held in the afternoons. I am gluten free and always have to check options. One evening in particular we paid for the buffet, £100 total for us both and the only things I could eat were dried meats + Salad, with my husband only eating mini pizzas. Everything else was very overcooked vegetables and fish. For the price i expected more.
- the kettle in the room did not work.
- there were a couple of rude male waiters, which is a real shame as you can see the other waiters trying their very best.

A spa hotel to return to
Pros:

The staff is helpful and welcoming. The facilities are magnificent. The heated indoor pool allows bathing in cooler weather. The spa is wonderful and diverse.
Breakfast was very good with comfortable flexible sitting options.
The location is wonderful. It was easy biking to other towns around.
Rooms are spacious and clean.
The gardening is wonderful.

Cons:

Breakfast was a bit repetitive. The vegetables section was basic. It could add a lot if there was a variety of vegetable salads - both to the healthiness of the breakfast and to its diversity.

Tolle Kurzferien.
Pros:

Poolanlage. Frühstück reichhaltig, perfekt.

Cons:

Abendessen war die Auswahl sehr klein. Badezimmer sind etwas alt, hätten eine Renovation nötig.

Capisco che trovarsi in una località sul lago possa comportare prezzi più elevati, ma in questo caso il rapporto qualità-prezzo mi è sembrato decisamente fuori misura.

Il personale è stato davvero gentile, disponibile e cordiale, e questo è sicuramente un aspetto positivo. Purtroppo, però, la struttura nel complesso mi è sembrata piuttosto datata e legata a uno stile ormai superato.

Un’altra nota negativa riguarda la gestione della reception. Nel 2026 mi aspetterei sistemi e software più moderni ed efficienti: per effettuare un semplice upgrade della camera, infatti, è stato necessario compilare a mano un foglio in cui dichiaravo di accettare l’upgrade, per poi doverlo firmare. Una procedura francamente anacronistica, che non solo appare fuori luogo per una struttura di questo livello, ma rende anche il check-in più macchinoso e comporta una perdita di tempo assolutamente evitabile.

In sintesi, personale promosso per cortesia e disponibilità, ma struttura, organizzazione e rapporto qualità-prezzo decisamente da rivedere.
