Our king suite was large & comfortable. The bathrooms were updated and modern. I enjoyed the large sofa quite a bit, and the workspace is a nice touch even for tourists. The breakfast was a nice combo of hot & cold foods. I had the cereal, but I'm sure the oatmeal, eggs etc were good. The hotel was close to the local Trader Joe's, which is a plus. Also the Kurver Kreme, which we did not get to.
This is not a complaint, but more local folklore. The fourth floor room was very quiet. You can't hear airplanes from the nearby airport. But a few times, there were three sharp air blasts & we didn't know why. Local residents whom we were with said this is to call local volunteer fire departments. It's an old tradition that they don't want to let go of. Again, not a complaint but more "what is that?"
The staff are very friendly and helpful, felt very welcomed and homely.

The location is excellent and convenient for travel.
The room A/C was broken during our mid-July stay. It was set to heat at 78 degrees when we arrived around 8:00 pm. When we switched it to cool the room began filling with a horrible moldy/mildew odor. We finally called the front desk and they had a mantainence person take a look. The manager was excellent and quickly switched us to a different room that was cool and smelled cleaned. The lobby breakfast area was also very hot in the morning. It was much cooler outside!
