I stayed there twice recently. Both times in different rooms the showers didn’t work properly. The shower inobs were very stiff and couldn’t be turned or adjusted.

Staff could be friendlier and accommodating
Friendly staff. Convenience! Steps from beach chairs and umbrellas, the pool, bar, restaurant dining, all with such incredible views. Water bins to wash sand from your feet. Beach towels available. Entertaining! Watch boats, ships and waves from the dining side or sit on upper porches to watch airplanes take off. Live singers Saturday on the beach. Pet-friendly: dogs, cats, Koi fish and caged birds and turtles on the premises. Landscaping looks like a tropical paradise from every spot of the property. Security presence, so it also felt safe.
Dining service was often slow to bring out food.

We hadden gevreesd voor het storende lawaai van vliegtuigen vermits de resort pal naast de startbaan ligt maar dit viel al bij al zeer goed mee.

Nothing. Horrible hotel. It's a scam. Not at all a 4-star hotel.
I had a very unpleasant experience with this hotel. I asked the front desk to call a taxi for me, expecting them to arrange a normal local taxi service. Instead, a member of the hotel staff offered to take me themselves and tried to charge more than double the normal taxi price.
This felt extremely dishonest and opportunistic. When guests ask for help with transportation, they expect transparency and fair prices, not an attempt to overcharge them.
I strongly recommend that future guests be careful and verify taxi prices themselves before accepting any transportation arranged by the hotel.
This kind of behavior damages trust and reflects very poorly on the hotel’s professionalism.
Sehr charmantes Hotel direkt am Strand. Und auch direkt an der Landebahn. Wir hatten ein Apartment im Keller, für 1 Nacht völlig ok. Alles sehr sauber. Es gibt Hunde, Katzen, Vögel und Schildkröten, alles ist liebevoll dekoriert. Abendessen und Frühstück waren sehr gut.
Die Musik am Strand war karibisch und gut, für uns aber zu laut.
