Pros:

Location was wonderful!!!You are steps away from relaxing in a lounge chair on the beach. Had a great experience. The updates to the property were very nice since the last time I stayed. The place to stay on Hampton for sure!!!

The location

Cons:

We got there around 5:30pm and our room still wasn’t ready. We checked in and left to have dinner (no restaurants on property were open). Once we called and found out our room was ready at 7pm, we went back to our room. Our room was dirty (roach and dirt on the floor), our TV was broken (however, the staff was great and tried to help. It took 45 minutes but we fixed the TV).

Cons:

The air conditioner/heater unit needed repair! It was VERY loud and noisy, making it difficult to get to sleep and stay asleep! We reported this in the AM at checkout.

It was ok.
Pros:

Easy access to reason why I chose to stay at the Ashworth.

Cons:

Price, extra resort fees added on once I checked in that were unknown when room was booked. I'm not even sure what those fees would have been for. Parking is non-existent. You have to valet. Another added cost.

For the price, I would shop other places to stay, if I stay again.
Pros:

Location was near my friends place. That is why I chose this location. Did not use the beach. Bar was fun. The room was quite.

Cons:

Room 316 is small. Fine for a night or two, but I would not recommend for an extended stay. Building is old. The door were cumbersome to open, especially with a luggage cart. Nothing on the any website about the amount to pay to park - $25.00/night
