A very comfortable hotel with exceptional staff
Pros:

I was here from 23/2 to 23/3 spread over 4 bookings and 4 rooms. I must give a special mention to Claudine who went to extreme lengths to provide the proper accommodation options during this period, and like all the staff, always friendly and helpful.

Although the hotel is under refurbishment, it remained a welcoming place. Some rooms are showing their age (understandable), but the beds were really comfortable. The sunny views over the harbour added to a very pleasant stay. The location is tops, given the proximity to excellent restaurants and cafés and the parade. The free admission provided to the Freyberg pool was also a unexpected bonus.

Cons:

The amenities in the rooms were quite sparse. No further complaints.

Was a little disappointed with the venue

It was tired, in need of some TLC.
The corridors were especially poor state.
We paid for bay view but the main view was the back of another building - the bay could be seen from a small window but not from main window or bed.
It was functional for one night. Would not have been happy if stayed for longer at the price.

Okay for a quick overnight but no "wow" factor here.
Pros:

Great Central Location in Wellington with views over the bay.

Cons:

Parking was tight and expensive. Had to back up a long S-Curve to get out. Room service options were limited and they got our order wrong. They did refund for an order that never arrived.

Absolutely perfect
Pros:

Every!! The room was perfect, the beds were comfortable, the buffet breakfast was amazing. Staff were was friendly and helpful

Cons:

The only thing was that the fridge in our room was so cold it froze things In there.
