We had a magical stay in the charming Tree House at Castle Wood Cottages in Big Bear. It's a cozy, storybook retreat in the trees that is so peaceful and romantic.
The workers were incredibly nice and hardworking and made us feel so welcome.
We had a small language barrier but easily communicated with Google Translate, and they were so patient and friendly about it.

Everything was good. It was clean and cute. We had fun

Cons:

For one, they do not have English-speaking. People, so it seemed like that was I bet. Irritating, because we had to translate through the phone and even then so it didn't seem like they completely understood. There wasn't a whole lot of outlets but that's not the biggest deal
A lot of extension cords and power strips which to me is kind of dangerous
But we had fun

The only negative is there could be more utensils: knives, forks, bowls etc. kitchen towls.

This place is amazing, wonderful and romantic. If you ever get the chance you must stay here
Pros:

Amazing cottage with such attention to detail. I stayed in the castle garden and felt like I was in an episode of game of thrones

Cons:

The only downside was bed on third floor and bathroom on 1st but not that big of a deal

Beautiful room, but a little warm.
Pros:

Beautiful room and a wonderful tub.

Cons:

The AC would not go below 75, so it was warm during the day. There was no loveseat/couch for 2 people. The "couch" could only sit one person and I had to sit in a regular dining room chair, which was not as comfortable.
