Une honte, marchand de sommeil

Malgré tout, la gérante répondait quand même aux messages

Tout le reste. Une honte !! Nous avons réservé une chambre familiale dans un hôtel 2*. A peine arrivés, sans même voir la chambre, on nous propose de loger dans un autre hôtel, dans 2 chambres séparées, sans raison. Après notre refus, nous avons été envoyés non pas dans un hôtel 2*, mais dans un appartement miteux, non conforme aux règles élémentaires de sécurité italiennes (à plus de 180€ la nuit accessoirement !). Nous avons sollicité la gérante, qui nous a gentiment expliqué que c'était un logement normal pour ce prix ... ce qui est faux, car nous avons logé à Côme pour moins cher, et beaucoup mieux. Une honte, et ne compter pas sur Booking pour faire quelque chose.

Pros:

Super Lage mitten in der Altstadt

Cons:

Wir hatten die beiden Zimmer im 3.Stock (ohne Lift). Die Lampen waren schön, aber die Beleuchtung ist nur düster/dürftig. Keine Nachttischlampe. Die Wand zwischen den Zimmern ist seeehr dünn. Man versteht jedes Wort des Nachbarn. In einem Zimmer hatte es einen Riss in der Bettdecke - flicken oder auswechseln. Das Raumklima war fröstlig und unangenehm. Wasserhahn beim Bidet braucht eine Revision. Frühstück im Pic Nic toll, aber ab 08.30 h etwas spät und es war an keinem Tag pünktlich bereit. Vor 08.45 gab’s nie Kaffee, schade.

Breve e piacevole soggiorno in albergo diffuso, ad Orta
Pros:

Parcheggio gratuito disponibile in una zona differente: l'albergo è situato in zona ZTL, quindi l'auto può essere parcheggiata, gratuitamente, in un parcheggio messo a disposizione dall'hotel. Ideale in caso di bagaglio leggero perché dista circa una ventina di minuti a piedi. La camera era piccolina, ma pulita e confortevole. Era presente un bollitore per le bevande calde, gli snack e le bevande fresche erano disponibili gratuitamente: particolare molto apprezzato! Colazione abbondante e varia presso un albergo vicino. Posizione centrale e silenziosa. Letto molto comodo.

Cons:

Purtroppo per arrivare alla camera è necessario salire una rampa di scale un po' ripida e quindi non adatta a tutti.
L'unico affaccio della camera dava su un cortile interno

Location is absolutely excellent in the center of the village, including 25 meters to a swim in the lake.

It is more apartment style than hotel rooms, with narrow steep stairs to the room. Car stays outside the city zone.
