The peacefulness. The traditional decor.
It would be even better if there was a little bar and comfy seats.
The rooms were a bit weird in their decor, but were large which was nice. The location was a bit of a walk, but we knew that when we booked and it was cheaper than the central areas. It was a really lovely area and not too far from the station. The staff were generally helpful.
The reason I marked this down was that I had booked two rooms and later added an additional night drectly with the hotel as I only needed one room for the extra night. I booked this 9 months before our stay and had the documentation to confirm this. I was told to pay at the hotel. But when we got there, the booking did not exist. The hotel was heavily booked and this caused us much concern. To their credit they sorted it out for us. We had also been adivsed that we could store out luggage prior to check in. My experience is that luggage is stored in a locked room, but our luggage was just left in a hall (where there were hotel rooms) near reception and later our cases were left in the breakfast area accessible to the public. I had not even locked my case as I was unaware it would be left like that. We got to our rooms and we were horrified the bags were not there and when we returned to reception, there they were just sitting there. This was very disappointing.

L'hotel si trova in un quartiere caratteristico, suggestivo passeggiare per le calli silenziose.
Consigliamo il ristorante mediorientale che dista 20 metri dall'ingresso per una cena deliziosa a prezzi giusti.
Colazione buona e varia il primo giorno. Il secondo giorno abbiamo invece trovato i vassoi mezzi vuoti, lo staff poco attento, abbiamo dovuto chiedere per tre volte il limone. Il latte non è a disposizione ma bisogna chiederlo.
La camera è molto calda e non siamo riusciti ad abbassare la temperatura sul termostato.
Manca il kettle in camera.

The staff were lovely and an excellent location, not too far from anything!
The beds are so uncomfortable, like sleeping on a rock… we even put the two spare duvets on the bed and have come away with sore backs and shoulders.
