Loved the hotel and location. Good amazing and would stay again in different room

The bar & restaurant

Cons:

Our room no 31 had a pump in the bathroom that made a loud noise when using the shower in our room and next doors. Would not stay in that room again. Also walls very thin could hear neighbours talking.

Stunning location with the Watermill inside the building
Pros:

Location, the setting is stunning, with walks right outside the hotel. Great food served in the bar

Cons:

Not really a "dislike" the restaurant was not open as it was having a spruce up, we were not aware of this until we arrived but the bar was more than acceptable for us.

Nice period hotel in a great location, good food & helpful staff
Pros:

Small but pleasant room with nice view through double aspect windows Staff very friendly & helpful. Evening meal & breakfast good.

Cons:

We did ask for an upper floor room & got one but didn't realise there was no lift so bit of a work out
