Extended Stay America Suites - Oakland - Emeryville

Room was extremely dirty, dirty clothes from previous person shoved in a chair. Non smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke and had burn holes everywhere. Shred marks in the curtains. Screaming people all in the hallways. Horrible experience do not stay there!!!

The staff, except the manager Jason are amazing.

The hotel is run down, each room has something different to offer: roaches, anta, smoke... and they all smell of something precurer.

It was convenient to target, and the bridge. Other stores near by as well, safeway, starbucks, peets not to far. I prefer peets.

Elevator was off for a few days.

Friendly service. Good price. But the heater did not work, there was a hair in my folded towels, there was a big spider web in the bathroom and the toilet ran all night. Also, the Expedia app said check out was at 12:00pm. I had a cleaning lady knock and try and enter my room at 11:00am. She gave me 10 minutes to get out.

First the front deak and cleaning crew are fabulous.

Jason, the manager must have had some upset with us because we could never have our room cleaned and upon our arrival that room had not been cleaned properly. There were bottles and trash under each bed.

Our 2nd room, yes 2nd because Jason said that we could not rent a room for longer than 2 weeks, so I used my name and my kids names to get around that. After week 3, he reminds me that he doesnt have to rent to me. He says this after he assigns a specific room for us with a stove that didn't work for 5 out of our 7 days there, and the tub faucet kept getting stuck in the on position. My family has been experiencing homelessness, so we needed to be there.

The property had roaches and bed bugs. Furniture was damaged (have a picture) didn’t feel comfortable sleeping there so we left.

It was okay. We saw a roach. Other then that it wasn’t that bad.

Rooms are dirty, furniture is worn down, hot water takes over 10 minutes just to get to luke warm. You pick places like this because of the kitchenette, but it does not come with cookware and eating utensils. I asked the front desk for it, and she tries to scrapes together a few dirty items. The fridge barely works, and there is no ice machine at this property. The so called included breakfast is just mini muffins that are dry and cakey with the most sour coffee you've ever tasted. I wasn't expected the Hilton, but the quality is ridiculous. Motel 6 would have been a step of this. Please don't waste your money.

The entire place was dark and dingy overall. The hallways smelled like fried fish. Our room didn't have any cups, and the cups given to us by the front desk had chips and cracks on the rim. The bathroom had mold and was not very clean.

Smoke free room, still smelled like smoke everytime we returned to our room. There was also cockroaches on our wall one night and people blasting music in the parking lot in the middle of the night

Payed a whole night but Stayed for about 2hrs the place had roaches!! Nope never again, I was on the 4th floor, the front desk lady was courteous

I did not too much enjoy my stay a family of 5 while is a decent space the experience was quite revolting. I seen numerous roaches within my room and the hotel lobby by the coffee setup. The rooms don’t come with the cook wear and utensils you have to call to inquire and then go retrieve it yourself. And don’t let it “too late” at 6:30pm or you’ll be hungry till the next day. Then there was a fire and a flood the broke out @ 3am on the 3rd floor and the staff was very frantic and unprofessional in leading residents through the process. Has us waiting for about an hour and a half outside. Residents had to take action inquiring about when we can go back inside to the fire officials.

The Front Desk Staff was very attentive and accomodating. All Shifts handled our needs with the same level of care as when management was around. The Location is great for food and shopping. The Security Guard that patrols the Property every night made us feel very safe.

i really wanted to like this place, but seemed like a motel 6 to me. i had to switch my room 3 times until i found one that was barely decent. the lady at the front was so kind in helping me with the issues i was facing, but this property was nothing like the description or the photos. i am sad i wasted $100, but i guess you get what you pay for.
