So friendly at the front desk, upgraded to a very nice suite, pool opens early, nice workout room, the grounds are clean and peaceful. Room was quiet with daily room refresh. I like like this place a lot. Good restaurant on site. Spa closes at 3 on Monday, closed on Tuesday so I wasn't able to enjoy it.
It was a fabulous experience and a very lovely and charming place
Staff was friendly and kind! The atmosphere is calming, the rooms are generously inviting and the beds were super comfy! But the best part was the spa! I was very well taken care during my two night at this resort!
I've stayed in 5 different hotels in Sacramento over the years for business.
Although isolated, great place to stay. River view quieter, walking trails, on site restaurant just ok, convenient. Rooms clean and comfortable. Parking pricey. Great lounge in lobby for visiting, gratis choice of water: sparkling, filtered, healthy. Spacious rooms. Clean and modern. We were there for birthday celebration/reunion. Staff was very obliging. They have banquet facilities and lawn in back for kids to play. Can check out soccer balls, cornhole bags, bicycles etc at front desk. Enjoyed the benefits of my Titanium status with Marriott.
The room was clean with a modern interior. The bed was very comfortable, and I also had a bathtub, which was nice.
There was an unsightly crack on my room's ceiling. The valet parking cost around $50, and I wasn't informed of this fee during check-in, which I find somewhat unfair.
My 90 year old mom and I were looking for a fancy hotel overlooking the Sacramento river close to where her father grew up. We found the Westin in Sacramento fit our needs. We arrived and were happy their were sweet kind boys to help us unload and valet our car to a safe spot. Worth the money not to have to worry about our car. We loved the sweet staff at the front desk and the kind informative Manager Ryan, i think was his name. Anyway our room had a gorgeous view of the Sacramento River and we just loved being able to look out. Our room was clean amd cozy. We were happy with the big bed and soft white sheets. The tv was nice and big and I liked the wine bar 🍷. The immaculate o bathroom had a big old fashioned bath tub and I was so happy to get into that! We went to their spa ans got massages and after a nice nap, we then went to eat at Scott's Seafood grill. The food was outstanding and I felt like this vacation is turning out to be lovely. Mom felt happy and safe and we were very pleased there was a refrigerator in the room to put our leftovers and a few things we had brought. We stayed for two days and it was a weekend so when we had to leave we wanted to stay lol. I strongly recommend this place amd although it may cost a little more for luxury, ot was well worth the great service the whole staff provided. Kudos to the people who made this trip possible. I plan on coming back again with my older sister.
The hotel was clean and beautiful. The recent decor upgrade is fabulous. The lobby has a long gas fireplace with comfortable seating & reading material. You can indulge in coffee or wine while you relax. The restaurant has amazing seafood and lots of salad options. My room had a balcony with a river view. I would definitely stay here again!
No heat. Room temperature was 64°
Cleanliness and location.
The unprofessional staff were rude, gaslit me, some were kind, but most were challenged in the customer service department and it seemed like the manager enjoyed it. I was reprimanded by the manager of valet for parking in the wrong area the wrong way- without realizing his staff had parked it for me. Go figure...
Everyone was very friendly and helpful
Nice room. Clean.
Very noisy. I would have liked to be on the river front side. I could not fall asleep because of the freeway traffic. It was terrible.
I loved the cleanliness and aesthetic of the place. It is beautifully furnished and decorated. It smells great and the staff and valet were delightful and respectful. I will return.
When showering, the shower door does not keep water in and when stepping out I’m greeted with a large puddle of water that covers half the bathroom floor. Also the water pressure in the tub shower head is very strong causing the same issue. Other than that our stay was great and we slept very good. :)
Loved the water station!!
Parking was convenient however it forced us to use the valet service but coming from out of town that added expensive wasn’t expected, But the guys were great and very friendly. No real complaint just an observation.
The location was great, the accommodations were beautiful and the staff was outstanding.
Can’t think of anything.
