Cleanliness and location.
The unprofessional staff were rude, gaslit me, some were kind, but most were challenged in the customer service department and it seemed like the manager enjoyed it. I was reprimanded by the manager of valet for parking in the wrong area the wrong way- without realizing his staff had parked it for me. Go figure...
Everyone was very friendly and helpful
No heat. Room temperature was 64°
The location was great, the accommodations were beautiful and the staff was outstanding.
Can’t think of anything.
Loved the water station!!
Parking was convenient however it forced us to use the valet service but coming from out of town that added expensive wasn’t expected, But the guys were great and very friendly. No real complaint just an observation.
Nice room. Clean.
Very noisy. I would have liked to be on the river front side. I could not fall asleep because of the freeway traffic. It was terrible.
I loved the cleanliness and aesthetic of the place. It is beautifully furnished and decorated. It smells great and the staff and valet were delightful and respectful. I will return.
When showering, the shower door does not keep water in and when stepping out I’m greeted with a large puddle of water that covers half the bathroom floor. Also the water pressure in the tub shower head is very strong causing the same issue. Other than that our stay was great and we slept very good. :)
Everything
Everything was awesome.
My room was very clean, and the soaking tub was incredible! Overall, it was a very comfortable and quiet hotel with beautiful river views.
I didn't like that the only parking available was valet parking, and I didn't like paying for Wifi. At a hotel of this quality, I would expect free WiFi. I had requested my car be brought out for my use early in the morning, and when I came down to my car, it was frozen and I wasn't able to depart at the time I needed to. Valet parking was over $50 (not including tip), so I would also have expected my car to be defrosted especially since I gave advance notice of my departure time. My advice to others would be to give additional time to yourself on frosty mornings.
The bathtub and the bed! :)
I was unaware of the valet parking fee, definitely should be noted when booking.
Scenic location steps from the river and the river trail, good value, polite staff, and super clean. Highly recommend.
We were lucky to find this hotel. It is a gem. We were on our way to Tahoe and learned I-80 was closed due to spin outs ( it was the holidays with many driving in snow that don’t do so regularly) loved the hospitality of the staff it was noticeable, as was the upkeep of the hotel. We were able to use the hot tub and eat at Scott’s seafood onsite. We appreciated the environment as a well appointed stop for travel, since my first stay I have booked again and had another night here. It is great to leave the Bay Area and stay here the first night on multi day trips to Tahoe; it splits up the drive time and allows for a much shorter time over the summits ( Donner or Echo). I have done similar stays in Sacramento and Auburn but found this hotel stands out for environment, service, convenience and all at a reasonable price. I will be back!
Just perfect.
