It was a place to sleep, not necessarily to relax.
Pros:

+ Close to the ocean
+ Cleaning lady and bar lady (middle aged blonde) were awesome. They made the stay bearable.
+ We were a big group so they were accomodating to not have to check out and remain in the rooms.

Cons:

- Rude german speaking lady that micromanaged everything and refused to speak any othee language except german.
- There is only one key per room so for bigger groups it's hard to freely go and leave.
- Reception is barely attended at all.
- The check in process was hard even for experienced travelers due to the owners language barrier.
- Intrusive for the owner to knock and complain. I want ti feel like I am on vacation not be responsible for a whole group as the only one speaking german.
- Breakfast starts too late. 8 am is not possible for living in Podstrana as it takes a while to go to the meeting points for guided tours.
- The AC is very confusing.
- You cannot borrow towels unless a fee is payed.
- Heavily understaffed.
- No elevator so prepare to walk up and down a lot.
- The room description doesn't match the actual room.

I rarely ever complain but for the price and for the hassles the above mentioned caused, I genuinely would personally not ever stay here again or recommend it to anyone. It burdens the one that can speak german to deal with everything. If you or anyone in your group don't speak german then good luck having any form of seamless stay.

Pros:

Das Hotel hat eine super schöne Lage. Nur ein paar Meter bis an den Strand. Die Gastgeberin super freundlich und lieb. Das Hotel ist sauber und man fühlt sich wohl. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Vielen lieben Dank ☺️

Sve u hotelu je na svom mjestu.Vlasnica izuzetno ljubazna, tacno se moze vidjeti sa kolikom ljubavlju pazljivosti , rada i truda je nastajao hotel.Odlican pristup objektu, parking, blizina plaze (5m od hotela), bazen, teretana, uredne i ciste sobe,lezaljke na plazi sa suncobranom...sve skupa, jako zadovoljni.

Schöne Lage - das ist alles.

NIE WIEDER!!! Gastgeberin hat sich wiederholt völlig im Ton vergriffen und war mehr als unverschämt.

Wir hatten 10 Nächte gebucht und bezahlt und sind nach 2 Nächten abgereist trotz voller Beazhlung. Haben so etwas noch nie erlebt.

Pros:

äußerst freundliche Hoteleigentümerin; man hat von Anfang an das Gefühl willkommen zu sein; sie spricht perfekt deutsch; immer für ihre Gäste da.
Hotellage mit Parkplatz perfekt direkt am Strand; Frühstücksterrasse mit wunderbarem Blick aufs Meer; kostenlose und ausreichend vorhandene Liegen und Sonnenschirme.
Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche übrig; sehr guter Kaffee; man kann jederzeit Wünsche äußern.
Sehr positive Einstellung zum Umweltschutz: die Gäste können selbst bestimmen, wie oft das Zimmer gereinigt wird; ebenso den Handtuchwechsel ( muss ja nicht jeden Tag erfolgen!);
Ideal die Nähe zu Split, Trogir und Omis (erlebnisreiche Ausflüge daher möglich); schöne Badebuchten auch außerhalb des Ortes.
Fazit: sehr empfehlenswert; wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Pros:

Hotel is situated right on the beach, breakfast was very good and there is balcony where we could enjoy sea view during breakfast. Hotel is very clean.

Cons:

Our room was described as Room with garden view, but its better to call it Room with noisy main road view... I expected quiet garden and not noisy road to look at.

Manchmal besucht man einen Ort und vergisst ihn nach der Reise wieder. Das Hotel Sunce gehört definitiv nicht dazu. Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns nicht wie Gäste, sondern wie willkommen geheißene Freunde gefühlt. Die Herzlichkeit, Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit des gesamten Teams haben unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Die traumhafte Lage direkt am Meer, die wunderschöne Aussicht und die liebevoll gepflegte Anlage haben jeden Tag unvergesslich gemacht. Alles war makellos sauber, das Frühstück hervorragend und jede Begegnung mit dem Personal von echter Gastfreundschaft geprägt. Es sind nicht nur die schönen Zimmer oder die perfekte Lage, die dieses Hotel auszeichnen es sind die Menschen, die diesem Ort eine Seele geben. Dafür möchten wir von Herzen Danke sagen.

Great location on the beach. But hotel didn't meet the standards listed on booking

Location and the view from the room was great

Cons:

Room was very small. Had to sit on the toilet side ways or your knees hit the wall. Description on booking stated that the room had air conditioning but it wasn't working or not turned on, very hot. Booking also stated that the hotel spoke English but owner only spoke German. That was only parking for a few cars. People had to park behind others cars. There was no other parking close by

Чистота, охайність, гостинна та завжди усміхнена власниця… Готель затишний! Зі своїм чистим пляжем. Приємно здивувало, що лежаки та зонтики від сонця вже включені у вартість. Класичний доволі поживний сніданок , в якому Ви є омлет , яєчня чи варені яйця, сир , масло, ковбаса, різноманітна кава та чай, напої фруктові, завжди фрукти (ківі, яблука, апельсини…), йогурт (дуже сподобався своїм натуральним смаком), сухий сніданок типу мюслі, мед, джем та інше … Ідеальне розташування! Кілька кроків від моря… Море й берегова лінія - це просто мрія ! Єдиний момент: я б порадила відвідувачам купити спеціальне взуття для комфортного входу у саме море, бо камінці - ми забули. Але є й інший бік цього моменту - природній масаж стоп корисний! 😊👣 Номери чисті зі всіма необхідним. З гарячою водою немає затримки, як іноді бувало в інших готелях. Можна заздалегідь замовити номер з видом на море - це фантастично красиво!!
Крім того, в готелі є басейн і два спортивні тренажери для підтримки фізичної форми. Ми залишились повністю задоволеними відпочинком! Хочеться повернутись ще!!
