Pros:

Het personeel is heel erg vriendelijk, de kamer is prima en de locatie is top. Dichtbij de markthal waar een aantal cafés en restaurantjes in en omheen zitten.

Cons:

Het ontbijt is wat karig, maar dat is wel een beetje Canadees. Koffie, toast met jam (geen kaas of vleeswaren), bakje yoghurt en dat is het.

Perfect short stay in an amazing city.
Pros:

Location was excellent walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Breakfast was very good with lots of different choices.
Bed was comfy and the room was very clean.

Great comfortable place to book your next stay
Pros:

Very well put together place, comfortable and close to the market. Had a blacony which made it even special. Public parking just a few steps away. Enjoyed our stay. Also very good breakfast was included which we enjoyed.

Cons:

The vent in the bathroom was not working well, so the bathroom was getting a little stuffy during showers.

Great location for a few days stay. Close to a busy, possibly noisy area but we had peace and quiet
Pros:

Location is perfect for touring the Byward Market and local sights. Great restaurants and coffee shops very close. The underground parking at the hotel was a very nice surprise.
Breakfast was very nicely done with plenty of seating

A relaxing/ comfortable place to stay in the heart of downtown Ottawa with personable staff!
Pros:

I have stayed at the BBI several times in the last few years and it never disappoints. A room on a lower floor was requested and staff were very accomodating. Our room had two twin beds and although we faced the street and it was noisy that evening, the room with the A/C unit drown out the noise of the party go-ers. We slept deeply and SO comfortably. The BBI is the most quaint and comfortable boutique hotel in the region. The balcony with the bistro table and chairs is an added bonus. We enjoyed our morning coffee as the neighbourhood came to life on a busy Monday morning!

Cons:

As someone with a sensitivity to strong scents, I was sad to be hit with a very lemony, synthetic air freshener smell upon entering our room. I had not experienced this in the past and worried it would cause a severe reaction. We opened the door to the patio to air it out and the smell faded eventually. I might suggest staff be aware of the overuse of strongly scented cleaning products or room sprays.

The perfect stay
Pros:

We received a lovely warm welcome when we arrived and the gentleman on reception was very helpful making sure we had everything that we needed.
The rooms were spotless and very comfortable with little extra details that made it feel extra special. As we had traveled a long way, being able to get a carry out and take to the room to eat was an added benefit.
The breakfast was very good with a very good choice.
We were sad to leave this fantastic hotel which is in a great location for exploring the beautiful city of Ottawa, an we will definitely be back.

Cons:

Everything was brilliant.
