Pros:

The location of the hotel was great, there were lots of restaurants and fast food close by, with in walking distance. There was ample parking for many vehicles. We drive a large truck and there was alot of spaces that worked for us with plenty of room

Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing, both in terms of the condition of our room and the complete lack of customer service.

During our stay, we spoke with three different front desk employees, and unfortunately, not one of them was particularly friendly or helpful. They spoke so quietly that it was difficult to hear them, barely communicated with us, and generally made us feel as though our presence was an inconvenience.

The condition of our room was completely unacceptable.

When we first entered, we were immediately hit with a strong, foul odour that smelled like urine. The room itself felt extremely damp, and it didn't take long to discover some of the reasons why.

The refrigerator was in terrible condition. The door seal was broken, preventing the door from closing or sealing properly. The entire inside of the fridge was covered in several inches of frost and ice buildup. As a result, the refrigerator was constantly leaking water onto the carpet.

This was clearly not a new or recent issue. The carpet directly in front of the refrigerator was absolutely soaking wet. When you stepped on it, water would actually seep up out of the carpet. Given the amount of moisture and the terrible smell in the room, it was obvious that this had been an ongoing problem that had not been properly addressed.

The bathroom was no better. The sink barely drained, and if you left the water running while brushing your teeth, it would fill up and potentially overflow unless you turned the tap off. Once the water eventually drained, several minutes later, it left behind a disgusting brown film coating the sink.

What made this experience even more frustrating was the complete lack of concern from the staff.

We brought these issues to the front desk's attention on multiple occasions. First, we reported the horrible smell. Then we reported the soaking wet carpet and leaking refrigerator. Finally, we brought up the bathroom sink.

Pros:

Decent breakfast but bagels were hard

Cons:

I didn’t like the bright room lights. Too bright. I like a side lamp for nighttime reading . I love to read as it helps me doze off quickly. My husband was not able to sleep if I kept that bright light on to read. A nice gentle side lamp would have solved the matter.
