Came for music festival and Springhill participated in shuttle service. It was great!

Remodel going on. Debris outside in back.

It was great, comfortable and quiet.

Pros:

The price was reasonable and the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The place was under construction, room numbers were duct taped to the walls, the room was filthy (greasy fingerprints on the ice bucket, dried cheese on the counter, hair and dust all over the bathroom). The carpet hadn't been swept (i found a broken piece of jewelry on the floor), and the room felt like a hot steam sauna when we walked in. Also, we booked a king suite 4 months ago and they didn't have a king suite, so we got 2 queens. Front desk staff could barely operate the computerized reservation system, and I literally had to convince them that, no, I had not paid yet when it was time to check out. Avoid this place.

Pros:

Location was on point.

Cons:

Remodeling still being done and website said it would be complete April 2026. Pool closed. Not good. Our room was not cleaned. A dirty washcloth was left in the shower, bottle cap was on the floor, floor was not vacuumed or cleaned. I took pictures and showed the man at the desk. On our last morning there ants were all over the floor going into the sink area and in the bathroom. We stayed here years ago, and it was lovely, unfortunately, we will never stay here again.

Less than what I would expect from the Marriott brand
Pros:

Didn't realize the hotel was under renovations until we checked in. While our room looked like it was one of the completed rooms, the finish work was very shoddy. The bed was made, but the bathroom wasn't cleaned between guests, had pink mold in the shower track and trash in the wastebasket. The ice machine wasn't plugged in/accessible on our floor. Housekeeping consists just of towel replacement, trash emptying and water cup/water bottles on the third day of stay. The dining room was uncomfortably warm and the staff appeared frazzled. The office chair tipped precariously and the phone didn't work. We chose this hotel to be closer to family instead of driving 15 minutes from the Comfort Inn every day to help with a house move. For the additional costs for a room at the Marriott were not justified at this location.
