Didn’t stay in the end as soon as I found out that there was a traveller camp next door
No mention of a traveller camp next door to the hotel.
I have made various requests to booking.com but no one cares enough to investigate. They keep saying that this has been sent to the hotel for their comments and obviously they haven’t replied.
My issue is with the description, would never have booked there and this is on booking.com to refund
Stayed in the 4 poster room, bed was extremely large and comfortable, the room had an amazing jacuzzi type bath.
The staff were exceptional despite being overworked.
Sometimes there was a wait for service due to staff shortage.
Location hard work to find, booked double bed got 2 singles , bed lumpy, carpet sticky, old and tired,
Nothing
Poor check in. Located out of the way
Always like staying there they make you feel at home
Beautiful venue for a wedding I attended, bedrooms were lovely with large beds and lots of space to move. Clean too

checking out!
old and dated! £140 paid and didn’t even get to see breakfast due to a bridal party doing their make up in the restaurant area! evening meal was terrible! shame because 20 years ago i bet it was a lovely place to stay
Staff were excellent. Breakfast was great. Bedroom was roomy. Lovely quiet location with beautiful gardens but close to major routes.
Lumpy pillows and duvet. Decor and furnishings very tired looking.
Loved the bath with the jets, the room was a lovely room with french doors looking over the gardens. Very comfortable bed, clean and tidy
Loved the fact that you got a cookie each but because I'm celiac I couldn't have the cookie so have both to my fella who said they tasted lovely. I'd have liked some other alternative, maybe something else that didn't contain wheat, gluten, barley or rye
We would stay again
It wasn't so much that I didn't like anything. There were no tea options in the tray with all the coffee and sugar stuff. It would have been nice if there was tea as well.
Very convenient location for visiting family
Low lighting in corridors
Excellent food love
Love everything
The Garden to the Hotel was a real bonus, secluded & very calming.
Dont have any comments.
