Comfortable, friendly and great food!
Pros:

Good location for our needs which was meeting up with friends who live in the area and day trips round about Glasgow with the car. Food is great. I booked the hotel based on eating there previously and knew my kids would enjoy the breakfasts and Sunday roast. Our room was a family room with plenty of space and decent beds for two teenagers. Very enjoyable stay with helpful and very friendly staff.

Nice place to stay, restaurant onsite so not having to find anywhere else to eat was an added bonus. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking front and rear if front was full. Dog friendly.

Cons:

Had a room on the front first level, the road noise during the night and people leaving the pub or restaurant could be noisy.

Food and staff excellent
Pros:

The food was amazing.

Cons:

There was a wedding going on that day and the lady at check in did advise us, what we didn’t know was that the music was so loud upstairs in the bedrooms and then after the guests decided to have a party/chat/room to room /bang doors until 3am. We had travelled up to stay one night to break our journey doing the NC500. So l would advise asking if there are functions going on at the weekend. The staff, food, evening and breakfast was 100%. So it was a shame.

A hotel with good food
Pros:

We have dinner at the hotel restaurant because we arrived quite late. The food is amazingly good! Our breakfast is also in the same restaurant and is also at a good standard.
The room is nice and comfortable.

Cons:

I hope they can add some hooks in the bathroom, there is no place that we can hang the clothes and towels. And in the shower, there is no place we can put shampoo or shower gel.
