Room was comfortable, Breakfast was really nice
The Coachman is a great venue where we often stay when visiting family in the area. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the food in the restaurant is excellent both in the evening and at breakfast. There’s nothing to not like about it.

The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast waitress who was lovely. Free parking in a large car park was appreciated. The outside spaces were nice to sit and have dinner in. The food was good.
The room was on the road side of the hotel and there was a lot of traffic noise. The bar is open until 11pm and therefore it was quite noisy outside. It was difficult to sleep with the window open (it was hot weather during our stay), that being said, the hotel did provide an electric fan, so the noise levels comments are very subjective.
Central, clean, lovely staff and food! Rooms were well decorated too.

On arrival we waited at reception for 10 minutes then my husband had to go to restaurant to ask if there was anyone at reception so we could check in. I would have expected a reception to be manned especially when check in was stated from 3 onwards. No bell to ring for assistance. Now on to room. At this time of year would have expected heating to be in. The room was freezing heater had been turned off and window open Windows were filthy marks on wall. Bathroom was so small you could hardly get in it. This was just unacceptable. The room was extremely tired will never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone
