The staff were absolutely fabulous and so nice got a last minute booking!! The room was amazing, so spacious and warm. Definitely a place of comfort. It felt like being in the middle of the woods in a cosy log cabin x

From the moment we stepped through the front door - it was like being back in a cultural history period. The staff was spot on - def a highlight of our trip!

We stayed 2 nights in their Gatehouse which wasn’t that far from the main hotel.
The Gatehouse was very comfortable, warm and spotless
We had dinner in the hotel on the first night which wasn’t to all our tastes, but the staff were very courteous and attentive which made up for it.
We also had breakfast in the hotel and we all thoroughly enjoyed it, couldn’t fault it. The staff at breakfast (Elsie,Katy & Sue) were so lovely, they made a great team.
The ladies on Reception were also very nice too!
We would definitely stay here again and recommend it!!
Una vez dentro del hotel, sentimos casi lástima de no poder aprovecharlo más tiempo. Es un lugar hermoso, excepcional. Es el mejor hotel de nuestro viaje por Escocia. Ya hemos dicho que queremos volver a Skye, y cuando lo hagamos, será en este hotel. Muy bonito, con mucha personalidad, la habitación comodísima. El último día nos teníamos que ir muy temprano y nos prepararon un desayuno para llevar muy completo. Muy agradecidos! Por último, debo decir que prácticamente cualquier hotel estaría bien situado en Skye, este está en un lugar privilegiado. Nos gustó todo mucho en general.
Felt like a home from home.
Nothing at all
I cannot thank the staff enough for making my 30th birthday feel amazing. After having a bad day where our windscreen cracked with a stone. But staff put the biggest smile on my face. Sang me happy birthday.
I must mention sue was incredible. So friendly and bubbly she certainly is a wonderful person.
Then there was Daniel, the new manager gentleman, and the other lady manager. They were all incredible.
I briefly spoke with the chef that did our afternoon tea stuff and he was so pleasant. We assured him everything was amazing.
The skeabost gate lodge was amazing for me, my partner, and our doggie Mr Finn.
Skeabost Hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the surroundings outside is breath taking.
All of the staff were super friendly and could not do enough for you. They were all so professional and nothing was to much trouble. From the reception team to the breakfast team they were all amazing. The rooms were super clean, warm and probably the best we have ever stayed in.
Thank you to you for making us feel so welcome, and a special thank you to Sue who is just a beautiful soul.
