Interesting building looking at it from the front of the hotel
Took a room with view of the loch.
Room was a lot smaller than expected for the price we paid. Just the size of a standard 3* hotel room.
So as a result, the score we give you is the lowest possible for value for money. Compared with other places we stayed in the Highlands, this was the worst value for money.
Dinner was ok but again not worth the price. Why on earth are you serving Welsh water instead of Scottish water. What's wrong with Strathmore !!!
Breakfast a major disappointment. Lukewarm scrambled egg. No fresh berries for breakfast.
Lovely location next to the sea and fantastic historic building full of charm and very comfortable
Nothing but a little expensive
What a pleasant hotel - with a unique setting on the shoreline of Loch Snizort! We had a one-night stay there and enjoyed the quaintness it offered. The restaurant for dinner has a beautiful view of the loch; the morning breakfast was in another part of the mansion-turned-hotel, and the food was delicious as well... We had a room on the 3rd floor, which was very comfortable.
big bedroom and bathroom, friendliness of the staff
the smell of rotten fish when we arrived put us off eating there at night,
Room was not what was shown in the picture. I paid twice the hotels rate and got a room so small there was no room for the luggage or chairs to sit in Don’t be fooled. The front desk would not help and ruined the trip.
This elegant hotel has large rooms, good service (a little inconsistent, but mostly great), and a lovely restaurant. There is no lift, but a beautiful wide staircase. Ceilings are high.
Nothing
A complete price rip off. No quality. No sea view as advertised. Very poor room at half the price.
Everything
The price
Everything was fine. The location, the hôtel, the restaurant, the living room, and the sea view.
The only downside is the small size of the bathroom
Położenie. Pokój duży i urządzony z gustem.
W pokoju było zimno. Grzejnik działał słabo. Po interwencji dostaliśmy grzejnik olejowy. Na hotel pretendujący do 4 gwiazdek (głownie ceną) trochę słabo.
