staff are exceptionally friendly and happy
annex rooms could do with an update
I was told i would have a room in the main building at the time of booking but this was not the case when I checked in - big disappointment as the reason I chose this hotel was to stay in one of the original period rooms - not a wee room on the annex
Beautiful rooms, welcoming staff who were so helpful, food was amazing across every meal and the grounds just so serene and beautiful
De kamers waren goed en zeer goed eten. Ook was het in de bar gezellig
Zoals veel hotels in Schotland en Engeland is ook deze niet modern ingericht
Everything was great. It was on a great location near to Portree.
All the staff was amazing, super helpful, and always very kind. I would recommend staying here. My sister and I really enjoyed our stay here. Place is peaceful, staff and service amazing, restaurant we ate great.
So typically Scottish! Beautiful building and gardens. The dinner we had in the restaurant was lovely and breakfast was delicious too, with lots of choice. Cute room with a balcony. Lovely place to sit with a drink and play Scrabble!

Lovely tranquil location. So peaceful.. Nicely decorated rooms & comfy sofas to relax on. Not forgetting the fab whisky flight choices.

Common areas were excellent. The breakfast was very good too that allowed some flexibility. All of the staff were very attentive.
Such a beautiful property outside and a fantastic setting with it being on a loch. As a suggestion, a garden area with seating, fire pit, etc to enjoy the day and night sky would be a differentiator.
Friendly and professional staff. Great facilities and terrific meals.
