I’ve stayed in a 100 dif Melbourne hotels and god I wish I had stuck to them!
Pros:

It was in a fantastic location - one lovely young man at reception after hours. Young guy found some extra blankets for my son who was sleeping on the pull out couch. He had the best sleep of all of us on that couch.

Cons:

When booking- Trying to verify identity and pay bond was just a pain because their links never worked. Such a headache! I almost had to re-book elsewhere… wish I did.

Upon arrival - email told me to enter code and go straight to my room however there was no room listed in the email so when I emailed back asking about this I was told to speak to reception upon arrival. I did this. The Indian woman behind the counter was SO rude and treating me like an idiot for doing exactly as directed. In the end she had to allocate a new code anyway because nothing was working. Very broken system.

The room - lovely renovations although I would get your cabinet makers to do a double check of your bathrooms, the doors are hung so unevenly that one barely opens. There is barely any hot water in the showers - turn all the way to the left for hot and get tepid water. My son screamed like I was torturing him because of the cold but after a long day travelling and hours spent at the hospital he needed to clean.
The bed was like laying on a plank of wood, I tossed and turned all night long and god do my hips hurt now even after a night in my own bed.
The plan was to sleep in and head out for the day around 10am when check-out was however because I didn’t sleep, the moment the kids woke we were out of there!

The wifi - wish I had sorted the reviews to “lowest star” before booking as clearly the wifi is the biggest issue. After our long day and cold showers we settled down to watch a movie. The wifi would cut out every 2 minutes and so we gave up. My kids used my hotspot from my phone to watch their iPads and by 7:30 we were trying to sleep as there was nothing else to do. Photo attached of the lovely loading sign you will get to watch over and over again.

All of these issues were communicated to their management however it was only generic responses sent back and an offer to send someone up the next morning to check out the problems.

Great location close to China town, large classy apartment room. Serious value for maney.

Great location, but hygiene and cleanliness ruined the experience.
Pros:

The apartment is in a great location with easy access to public transport, and the bed was very comfortable, which made sleeping easy.

Cons:

for a non-smoking property, finding a cigarette butt on the patio was concerning. cleanliness also needs improvement, the bathtub appeared to have been bleached but not properly cleaned or rinsed, and I almost slipped on the first night because of residue left behind I had to rinse the bath walls to wash off the cleaning product.
Additionally, I raised these concerns with reception, but was advised to submit feedback through the booking platform and could've said it earlier during my stay instead.

There was also an issue with hygiene, the welcome sign placed on the dining table had what appeared to be dried mucus on it, which was quite unpleasant to see on arrival.

I recently stayed at your hotel and overall had a very positive experience. The room was fantastic—very clean, well presented, and with a beautiful view. I’ve actually stayed at your hotel 3 times now, and 3 times I was satisfied.

There were just a couple of small details that could be improved. The double bed was made from two single beds pushed together, which made it a bit uncomfortable due to the gap in the middle. Also, the shower water temperature was inconsistent—it would suddenly go from warm to cold, which wasn’t ideal.

Aside from these points, everything else was excellent. With a few improvements, it would easily be a top choice for me. I would definitely consider staying again, especially if the price is right.
