Location, right in the middle of town and next-door to a Coles. Water pressure in the shower. Value.

Everything is perfect with this property . Location Location fantastic .

Close to everything im the main street. Kitchenette was fully stocked with everything you needed. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Room overlooked the pool and was very private 😌 Pool was excellent.

Beautiful apartment with every facility, super comfy beds and very very clean and fresh. Super cool air con and perfectly located round the corner from a Coles, the main bar street and eating places. We had a great 6 day stay, thanks xx

Location, comfort, facilities, staff. ALL GREAT! We loved being smack bang in the middle of town but set back from Main Street so lovely and peaceful.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit allem, was man braucht. Hier haben wir uns richtig wohl gefühlt! Ein richtiger Herd wäre vielleicht gut (statt nur zwei Kochplatten), aber das Angebot an Restaurants in Port Douglas ist im Vergleich zu sehr sehr vielen anderen Orten sehr gut.

Zeer centraal gelegen appartement met alle voorzieningen, een heerlijk bed en kussens, goeie airco, Fijne badkamer, heerlijk balkon. Het zwembad is lekker en er is ook een BBQ voor algemeen gebruik. Het is op loopafstand van de haven en 4 mile Beach. Jo en Gary zijn supervriendelijk en hebben hele goeie tips (ze raadden snorkelen met Wavelength aan, absolute aanrader!). Communicatie is snel en ze waren vantevoren ook zeer informatief.

Great place to stay. Jo and Gary were very helpful with advice. Central to everything. Very clean, quiet and everything I needed for a week’s stay.

The location was very good and close to shops

The location was great, close to services and eateries. Having a car park made things easier. Hosts were informative and helpful. Accommodation was well equipped, functional and attractive.

Room was very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Macrossan House was right in the main street - easy access to everything. Walk to both beaches, walk to marina and cruises. Absolutely wonderful and beautiful place to stay. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again!

The accommodation is well situated in the centre of town, close to shops, the marina and Four Mile Beach. The room is a decent size, with a screened-off bedroom, and a balcony. The self catering facilities consist of fridge-freezer, microwave and a hot plate.
The low marking is entirely due to the claimed accessibility, and the arrogance of the owners when we pointed out its shortcomings.
As I am a wheelchair user, we chose to stay here because we were attracted by the claims to be accessible-friendly, with “accessible parking”, “accessible reception” and “accessible room”. We asked for a ground floor room. The room is adapted. I would not, however, call it accessible. The parking is underground, with no elevator and a very steep slope up to the ground level. The reception is up yet another, similar slope (and from my chair I was unable to see the reception staff unless they were standing up). The room is on this level, but everything else - swimming pool, barbecue patio, laundry facilities - is downstairs, with absolutely no access for a wheelchair user. The downstairs area itself is not disabled friendly - access to the sunbeds being via a stepping stone over part of the pool, and the sunbeds being on a raised platform. The owner was quite dismissive of the idea that a residence boasting of its access should property ensure that the disabled person has access to all (or at least most) of the facilities, and not just the room.

Excellent amenities and location is excellent.
