Clean and friendly

Took to long to check in
Good location for travel. Very comfy beds, clean, breakfast good. Lady in the breakfast area was excellent. Friendly and kept area clean and stocked.
TV was out just after we arrived. Front desk said they couldn’t get anyone in to fix. It was smokey from fires so the news would have been nice to watch.
Non completive location. Same hotel, $50 t0 $75 less expensive in other locations.

Breakfast was fine. The room was clean. The hotel was quiet as very few guests were there at that time of year.
When demand is very low, it stands to reason that the price for the product should fall. In Thunder Bay there seems to be some sort of hotel collusion as even though there are no guests wanting rooms at the time of year we stayed, prices at all Thunder bay hotels are exorbitant. Hotels across Canada do not charge the rates that hotels in Thunder Bay do, especially when demand is so low. We will avoid stopping in Thunder Bay from now on.

This is going to sound weird, but the Bell receiver hanging on the wall behind TV has a clock on it that is quite bright when trying to sleep…we put a face clothe over it
