Holiday Inn Express & Suites Martinsville by IHG

Hotel was fine. The restaurant was just ok . Most Holiday Inn Express hotels have free breakfast in the am but this one didn't because it had a restaurant....breakfast was $12.99. I left & went to Dunkin. Nice area ,easy on & off 81.

I’ve been trying since February 4th to block 11 rooms at this hotel. I’ve called four different times and have yet to receive a return call from either the manager or the sales manager.

I also reached out to IHG directly. They contacted the hotel as well, and still no one has called me back.

I stay at IHG hotels regularly, but based on this experience, I would not recommend this location and will not be staying here in the future

Bed bugs! I checked in room 305 and was there foe less than an hour when I laid down and got bit by a bed bug. It looked like a tiny tick and moved super fast as I shined my shine light on it and it went into the pillow case. There are other reviews on this same floor complaining about bed bugs in 321 and 323. I was offered a new room but declined, packed my stuff and got my 2 young children ready to go and we left. The employee said he understood us not wanting to stay and that we would receive a full refund and a call from management. 12 days later neither one of those things has happened. I have had to reach out numerous times and Anthony the manager is very rude and said he didn't find any bed bugs and no refund. I'm more concerned for people's health than I am for my refund and want others to beware and do not risk your health staying at this hotel.

Very clean

It was very clean and well kept. Unfortunately the one staff member who knows how to use the computer system left just before I checked in and no one else knew how to use the system. Which led to another family being assigned my room after I’ve been in the room for a few hours. Had to have my cards rescanned each time I came back to the hotel. Breakfast was good but had a super small selection.

Cleaning crew and breakfast person were friendly and did a good job. The front desk was “putting in her time” but that was it.

Comfy, safe, and relaxing! Perfect for our overnight stay.

Polite staff, clean rooms, easy secure parking, tasty breakfast!

Restful night, typical breakfast (good thing), quiet hotel. Glad to find it as hotels in Bloomington were booked up due to a Hoosiers game. Room nice and clean, A/C worked like a champ.

Hotel allowed us to stay an extra hour in the morning, which helped us out immensely. I appreciate that.

Would stay again.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. The breakfast was great. I didn't like the shower head.

Property and rooms were clean and quiet. My only concern is that our room door and that of the room across from us didn’t automatically click when closed. We had to push the door closed. This was also true for the door at the end of the hallway leading out to the parking lot. This is a huge safety issue

The bathroom floors could use a little extra care or a good scrub! Other than that, it’s a very clean hotel. Staff is pleasant. The free breakfast is decent. If you have to pick a place in this area, highly suggest.
