Loved the small feel of this luxurious hotel. Location was perfect and walkable to downtown restaurants and shops. The Included fancy breakfast was a plus as we enjoyed lobster benedict and a veggie loaded omelette. We felt like a kids hanging out in the free candy shop tasting all sorts of goodies. The king bed and pillows were comfortable however, the bed could have been more supportive as I felt motion every time my husband moved or turned over. We overall slept well and felt very special staying here.
I had booked a room for two night with American Express Travel. When I decided to add a third night I booked with Expedia. When I returned to my room on the third day it was occupied by a stranger. I went to the front desk to see why a stranger was occupying my room. The manager told me that hotel employees had moved our luggage to a less expensive room as that is what I had booked with Expedia. I have been a travel agent, and I have never experienced any situation like this. I am going to talk to a lawyer to see if I should sue the property for violation of personal property.
Property is nice. Rooms redone but missing some charm. Hotel does not have a water view and only a small terrace to sit outside in such a lively area.
Very comfortable and great service. Restaurant was a welcome surprise.
great maine feel
The staff were efficient, friendly, and attentive. Natalie's restaurant is impeccable! The property itself originates from the Victorian era and has obviously been remodeled. While much of the original architecture remains, the bathroom in our suite was modern, but not without issues. The shower water temperature varied immensely from lukewarm to scalding hot without touching the controls. There was also a TV in the bathroom which aside from practically falling off the wall, was in a stupid location, and quite honestly should be removed and use the space for hanging towels (there was nowhere to hang a bath towel after drying from using the shower). The King bed was comfortable, but had a "lump" in the middle. Furniture and decor in the room was very dated. The storage coset was very small - again dating back to the original building and not of the capacity one would expect for a "luxury" room. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would likely choose a different high-end hotel if returning to Camden in the future.
The town of Camden is adorable. The Camden Harbor Hotel is a short walk into town. It has a Michelin restaurant although it was closed on the days we stayed.
The decor is really cool in the dining room and bar and the breakfast was delicious. Great service and they have a complimentary candy room! The bedroom was big and spacious and we had a fantastic view over the harbor town of Camden and Mount Battie behind.
Absolutely fabulous
The inn is charming and comfortable and the service is exceptional. The only reason I have not given five stars in every category is the state of the stairways. Outdoors, the stairs to the entrance are uneven and hazardous. Inside, the stairs to the second floor are very steep and narrow, with shallow treads. Surprisingly for an inn of this caliber, there is no elevator.
Staff was great and room was super clean. Breakfast was very nice, and the candy bar was such a nice unique touch. Highly recommend the stay here. It is a bit pricey, but when you take into account everything you get, it’s a great value!
Fantastic staff, great food, and a lobster Benedict breakfast! Can't beat this place in Camden!
Everything was perfection, from the staff to the food to the decor. Just beautiful!

Phenomenal and peaceful place! All of the staff members were great and treated my dogs like royalty. Highly recommend.
Absolutely lovely property but more difficult access for older or disabled folks.
Just perfection from start to finish
