Loved the cakes and scones in the afternoon. Enjoyed beautifully cooked fish and chips in the evening.

Breakfast was good

Beautiful place, very relaxing and so welcoming with your dogs.

My husband and I stayed for a couple of nights with our dog. This was based on a friend’s recommendation. We were either my husband’s elderly parents. This was a very welcoming experience. The hotel fully caters for their furry guests. The staff are very welcoming, very professional and the hotel is spotless. Great hospitality and value for money.

A very good location for visiting the coast and New Forest.
The room was really lovely, very spacious, clean and very good value for the rate we were given.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at South Lawn, so an excellent service at all times.
We will return without doubt to this lovely relaxing hotel.

Lovely hotel with very caring staff. Everything about the hotel was perfect and there was nothing to complain about. The rooms were lovely, recently decorated and the bed and showers were of a high standard. The temperature in the rooms was easily controlled and the shower facilities were excellent. We couldn't think of anything negative to say about the hotel.

We have stayed here numerous times over the past few years. It’s a warm, friendly hotel and we always enjoy our stay. We see the same staff too which is always a positive management sign. It’s clean and tidy and has a home from home feel.

Hello Zen here I'm nearly 3 years old and am a bouncy Labrador just back from my 8th stay. My hoomans love staying here - so do I as everyone welcomes us like long lasts friends. My pawrents are very picky but are so impressed with this lovely hotel and have been staying here at least twice a year for the last 10 years. All the bedrooms are big and always spotless and have everything you need in them. The restaurant even has an area set aside for us pooches so we can join our pawrents for breakfast and dinner - although you must be on your best behaviour. At breakfast we get our very own sausage and a water bowl too. All the staff are so friendly and make a fuss of us, they have been working here together since before I was born and it's obvious they love their jobs. This visit we stayed in a suite I really did feel like a spoilt "top dog" it was amazing so much space, separate lounge and kitchen and a dining area too it was top class. I had my own patio door which opened onto a patio and then the grounds which lead to a massive secure paddock for us doggies to run and play in. Hotel is very near the seaside which I loved playing in and also the open forest in nearby too and that great fun and just pawfect for all my 4 legged friends. Don't just take my word for it tell your hoomans you want some of west Zens had - your love it. Maybe see you around as I'm planning my next trip in about June!

South lawn hotel was very dog friendly, the dog paddock was very safe and clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming, room was clean and spacious with plenty of storage space and a fridge was useful.

The South Lawn Hotel in Milford on Sea is an absolute gem! We stayed for a couple of nights and it exceeded expectations.
The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive—nothing was too much trouble, and they even made our stay feel personal. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable with great beds and nice bathrooms. We loved the peaceful location on the edge of the village, just a short walk to the beach and local spots—perfect for relaxing walks along the coast.
Breakfast was fabulous with a generous selection and high quality. Overall, fantastic value for such a well-maintained, dog-friendly country house feel with lovely grounds. We've already booked to return—highly recommended for a peaceful getaway! 5/5 bubbles.

South Lawn continues to offer excellent service and accommodation. Lovely breakfast with attentive service. Offers great value. The Rooms are spacious and spotless with fridge and tea making.
